I rated them on GrubHub but I needed to do it here so everyone knows this place is so GOOD! The food is always delicious. I only do delivery and it's on point. Every version of their salmon is delicious, GET IT NOW! their mashed potatoes is the best mashed potatoes I have ever had in my life and I had come to the point on giving up on mashed potatoes. I forgot my fish came with a sauce, they remembered and they brought to me anyways. Two containers! From the young man answering the phones to the chef in the kitchen, KUDOS! AMAZING. NEVER LEAVE EL BARRIO PLEASE

This is a storefront, so I don't believe there's a place to sit and eat. I found EK on GrubHub and have ordered many times since and I am always happy with their food. It's fresh, hot, well-seasoned, and tasty. EK is a small-business, so their hours may vary due to the team having to cater offsite, so I recommend calling EK to see if they're open before ordering or stopping bye. I highly recommend if you want home-cooked food!

Visited on a Friday after having dinner a couple blocks away on a whim. Me and my partner bought the triple chocolate brownie, devil dog pudgie, and smores pudgie. Over all SOOO GOOD!!! Service was really friendly and atmosphere was homey. I recommend this if you’re near East Harlem.

Lemon pepper wings and the pudgies are incredible! The Mac and cheese never misses in my experience. I’ve ordered a lot online and have been here in person plenty of times and it’s been a go to for me anytime I’m visiting in Harlem I have to grab something from Evelyn’s Kitchen. It’s probably my favorite food spot on the east side. Definitely worth checking out.

This place is obviously for a certain demographic because the prices are absolutely ridiculous for basic dishes. With all due respect I’d get a better bang for my buck going down the block. In addition to that this place has been here for quite some time and I have NEVER seen them do ANYTHING for the community. Do better guys.

Once upon a time, YEARS ago, I DM’d Ayala and told her that “I live in Texas but I tell ANY and EVERYone to go there if they mention they live in NYC or plan to visit. Twice my friends went to get me the Banana Pudding Pudgie whilst visiting there but both times the cafe was closed. ONE day I will get a pudgie!” I mentioned that I was temporary unemployed and couldn’t afford the shipping cost. Just like the kind heart that she is, she asked for my address and sent me a box of pudgies of every flavor that they made and luckily it was a holiday season, and I even got to taste the Pumpkin Spice Pudgies. Since then, any time any of my friends go to New York, I have them pick up a batch of pudgies for me as a “souvenir” ?. I’m still obsessed with the Banana Pudding Pudgies and will only plan my next trip to NY around whether Evelyn’s kitchen will be open.

The team at Evelyn’s Kitchen prepares the most delicious comfort food that feels and tastes like your mother is back there cooking for you. It’s not easy to please everyone but somehow when EK caters the cast & crew are incredibly satisfied and come back to set ready to work (especially when the meals ends with those delish pudgies)!!

VISITED JULY 7th 2023 To the staff, bakers, Maddy especially, everyone. I'd like to seriously thank everyone for making this dream come true. To be super honest my lil one honestly wasn't able to taste it (due to a series of unfortunate events and a lot of build ups the day ended bad).... But I'm not going to dwell on that. What I'm here to do is right a review...that's what I do!Seriously from the first day I was stressing about finding a "school approved" super extra duper vegan cupcakes. Since I was planning my daughter's school approved daycare lil tiny party since her actual bday is tomorrow. I never realized how hard it is to seriously search for vegan bakeries ESPECIALLY IN THE CITY. It's like when I'm not looking for anything vegan I actually SEE IT but as an option! When I am looking it's like finding a needle in a haystack! It's actually difficult finding anything vegan! But after dealing with Erin's team..seriously I was THAT customer calling and asking questions...Maddy and her staff made everything just smooth while ordering through the PHONE! I didn't even visit to place an order! I literally spoke as if we were buddies talking! The process was easy! Yet I asked a lot!...The ambiance is very tiny and small styled cafe ish establishment. Since you're only meant to place and order and go. So I didn't stay too long.The presentation of my cupcake... my daughter's cupcake was and is beautiful! I ordered the vanilla pink frosting cupcake. It was just amazing....I am depressed. To be honest. I'm on my way home and I honestly felt like I wasted this establishment time because I ordered this one special cupcake for my daughter. I got extremely excited especially when I was given tips on how to preserve it from getting spoiled ... thanks to the cashiers. I literally went across the street and grabbed several ice cups and made a cocoon surrounding this masterpiece... I went through a lot... for nothing because this bakery customer service overall is PERFECT. I'm deeply upset I couldn't present this to my daughter due to unfortunate stressful event..Thank you everyone andPlease support this fine vegan establishment this local mast

This restaurant is amazing. The Food is delicious. HOWEVER, THEY ARE HARDLY EVER OPEN! Their business hours are frustratingly inaccurate. It's honestly heartbreaking. I order whenever I see they are open. I'd place an order now...if they were open...it says they should be.

We had them cater our film set for 4 days in a row. It was EXCELLENT. The food was very good and everyone had everything they needed for options. When putting together film shoots it is a lot like event planning. You basically just want everyone to be happy and have all the different food options for allergies and diets. This team made it all happen and made it happen well. Everyone on my set was well fed and happy.
