The atmosphere is a 10/10 because it’s in Central Park. The food was okay. Griddled dog was just a tiny hotdog with a huge bun. The fries were actually pretty good, so good that a squirrel almost stole mine. Orange juice was a 10/10 (that could be due to my dehydration after hauling a*s on a citi bike up 1st ave). It will work if you’re near Central Park and ravenous like I was but you could probably find better options not that much further away. I was just too lazy to walk.

Lobster roll was great. Hot dog was just the smokey deliciousness that I was craving. Beautiful day outside, sunny, not too hot. A white wine kind of park experience. The inside was not opened today.

The hamburger was equal to what you would get in a hospital cafeteria. Meat had absolutely no taste. Adding cheese and salad couldn’t disguise the poor quality meat. I go strictly for the atmosphere. Chicken salad was a little better, go with that.

This is a great spot in central park, ideal for brunch. We went over labor day weekend so it was crazy busy. Food was good, nothing spectacular. Service was slow but understandable given how busy it was. Place is great to enjoy drinks while enjoying the nice view in the heart of central park.

Came here near the end of my walk throughout Central Park. It's a great spot to have a beer and go to the bathroom, though it does get crowded. If you are just wanting a quick drink, just go off straight to the left when you walk through the gates. The alcohol is over priced, but after walking so long it was nice to sit with a view of the small lake. Right nearby is a place to rent boats to go paddling a bit. I saw many enjoying their meals here. It was a beautiful sunset and I will certainly be going here again.

The lobe central park boathouse is such a beautiful place whether you're dining or have a special event, or maybe you want to boat ride? Or Do you want to rent a boat? Do you want to just have drinks or just get some thing at the snack bar and sit outside. It's a great place for tourists, but so many native New Yorkers love coming here and have made it a part of their routine of living here. There's tons of pictures on the walls of all the celebrities and famous New Yorkers that have always come here to visit the boathouse and have a raised their children with the same experience. In the summer, the outdoor café sells ice cream and little snacks so many proposals have been made here and wonderful events .Is a historic landmark, so they're not allowed to change much about it which makes it great because it stays authentic to the Victorian era .The service is impeccable. The food is excellent and fresh, and the ambience is like heaven. There's nothing that I could say negative about this place .But what I can say is, if you haven't been here, you must try it !!

The Loeb Boathouse never disappoints! I never come here for just one dish; it's always the appetizer, main course, and dessert. The scenery is the best, whether inside or on the patio. After a great lunch, I strolled around Central Park! Yes, this charming restaurant sits in the middle of one of the biggest parks in the world! I want to give a shout-out to Clay, my server; you were the best!

Perhaps the best value in New York for decent food in a beautiful spot. Also the best cup of tea I had all weekend. Absolutely recommend it for locals and tourists alike!

While in Manhattan and walking through Central Park, my colleague recommended I have lunch at the Boathouse. He told me the food was great and that this iconic restaurant was due to close in the near future. I got to the restaurant five minutes after they opened at noon. And there was 30 people in line in front of me. The line moved very fast as the restaurant just opened and staff took care of seating people quickly. I was told the crab cakes were special and worth a try, so that's what I ordered. I must say it is one of the best crabcakes I can ever remember having. Very little of anything other than lump crab, perfectly moist and flavorful. what was the company by a cucumber mixture that perfectly paired and complemented the crab cake. All I can say is if you ever get an opportunity to have the dish you will not be disappointed!

Nice location. Interesting food choices. Unfortunately no gluten free items at all in menu. Also very cold at this time of year and would be nice with some blankets.

Great quality for the price. Good place in Central Park for breakfast, lunch or a quick break. We had the Cobb salad, Philly cheese steak (special of the day), cheeseburger and hot dog. Total was 29$
