Even though there are pizza places on every corner, If you’re visiting New York City and want GREAT PIZZA (by the slice, by the pie, sit down or take out) RAY’S ORIGINAL PIZZA, is AWESOME! The atmosphere is very chill and relaxed, they have TON’S OF SEATING in the back part of the restaurant, and THE FOOD WAS FRESH AND DELISH!

The truth is that very bad attention from the employees, we do not speak English and they were not at all cordial, capable because they are already known, They should have the prices visible for customers, the place is normal, you can go to other nicer places , good service and better quality for the price.

Stopped here for lunch with five of us. The food was mediocre at best, not as good as other pizza places in NYC. After dining in we went to use the restroom. Upon standing in line, a female employee approached my daughter and started yelling at her very loudly in front of other customers that the restrooms were for patrons only. The female employee was advised that we had just got done eating and she walked away in disgust. She was rude and ignorant and other customers even apologized to my daughter for her rude behavior. Needless to say we will never return to this establishment again.

Grateful for Ray’s! Most attentive employee on the phone. Not only were they open until 2 am on Thanksgiving Day, they offered to deliver at no cost to our hotel lobby a few blocks away. Meat lovers pizza was excellent, picture minus two slices because we couldn’t wait. Also the medium size is huge and plenty for 3! Thank you! 🍕

You aren’t going here for the atmosphere, you’re going here for the proper delicious NY style pizza. It’s important to understand your audience when it comes to rating pizza, take it from the 30+ year old, overweight Italian. I have had terrible pizza, good, great and exceptional pizza in my life. This place offers exceptional flavor and taste. We tried the cheese slice, specialty with meatball and pep. All of the pizzas exceeded expectations, in fact we walked a mile to just get another slice the next day. There are a lot of Rays Pizza out there, this just happens to be one of the best ones. A must try

This is a great spot for a good NY Slice. Great options, friendly environment. I was staying at the ST. Regis NYC and asked the valet where I can get a good authentic NY slice and this is the place they recommended. They were right!
