Really good food and atmosphere! A lot of beef dishes and everything was delicious. The issue is that the portions are too small and the price is too high.

I had a wonderful experience overall—the ambiance was refined, the service attentive, and the food truly enjoyable. One small note: I ordered a gin Martini, but neither the bartender, the front-of-house captain, nor the waitress seemed familiar with it. Since it wasn’t listed on the menu, I switched to an Old Fashioned, which was crafted very well. That aside, everything else was excellent.

Went there at 630 PM on Saturday. Asked for Uzbek Plov and was told it was not available. How can you run a Central Asian Restaurant without Uzbek Plov?
Gin and tonic took 37 mins to serve.
Service sucks.
Dont come here.
They offered me free dessert but I declined.
They brought Entre before appetizer!

The filet mignon kebab is tasty but the price of $30 for one skew is very high, considering it is not even a proper main dish (small piece of bread + decorative salad). Not recommended.

Although this place is popular, I left disappointed. It took me 2-3 months to write this review to be fair.
Starting with the positives, the atmosphere was appropriate—slightly dark, but the music level was fine, and the style of music suited the place. The design and overall ambiance were neat, deserving a 4/5.
However, the bathroom was dirty and lacked soap. The waiter was friendly and interactive but gave food recommendations without mentioning key ingredients, such as licorice. They also didn’t clarify whether the dishes came with a side of rice. The portion sizes were barely enough for one person.
Additionally, when they brought us a piece of bread, they explicitly stated it was complimentary to try, yet we were still charged for it on the bill.
food was fine and 3/5 is me being generous.

Food was greasy, unseasoned, and had full peppercorns in it. Came out cold. They also added a fee for credit card without noting anywhere on the menu. Atmosphere was cute with live music though

Restaurantji Recommends
I took a friend of mine yesterday to this restaurant so she could try cuisine from Central Asian countries. Even though I would want to deeply support small businesses who have opened this type of restaurant as there are not too many around it was very disappointing. Baursaks weren’t fresh, they have been cooked like a week ago heated up and brought up, same thing with beef shashlyk. Salad came out good, that I have to admit. Chicken shashlyk was fine, better than hard beef shashlyks which were not fresh at all. I think if they can’t cook. It would be better to buy plov and dessert “mom’s honey cake” or something in Tashkent supermarket. Little advise. Because they were not tasty either. Live performance was very disturbing and loud. Service was lacking. I had to even get myself to get napkins from other tables and clean up our table and bring the dishes to the bar, ask for water and call servers for 10 times. Completely overpriced and not worthy place. I won’t come back for sure.

Farida is a great restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. The place is beautiful and has a cozy feeling. The food is delicious and full of flavor. I tried the traditional plov and shashlyk, and both were fantastic. The portions were big and well presented. The service was perfect—friendly and fast. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy.

The food was absolutely amazing (5stars!), and the servers were friendly. I came during Ramadan and enjoyed the Ramadan Special with Chicken Plof and Vitamin salad. The salad was delicious. It was the perfect balance of crunch from the fresh veg with just the right amount of spice. The chicken and rice dish was also well seasoned and had layers of flavor. The portions are a good size (enough to share or take home for later). Concluded the evening with cake of the day. I only gave service 3 stars because the servers kept forgetting about me. It took a long time for them to take my order, eventhough the restaurant wasn't overly busy. They were out of the tea I ordered but didn't come back to tell me. After I waited over 20 minutes, I asked for my check and that's when I found out about the tea not being available.

We ordered different dishes on Uber. We didn’t like Manti (4 pieces with meat) and Samsa. First of all, they delivered Manti and some of them with pumpkin, not meat. The dough was as if it had been reheated more than once, falling apart. And the same with Samsa. Overcooked.
Plov and kebab were good enough.
