I unknowingly picked up a brownie that had nuts in it because it wasn’t expressly labeled. I should have asked before hand but it looked tasty. I bit into it and immediately spat it out and ran back to counter to confirm if they had nuts.
They seemed unable to answer my question despite me having JUST bought the brownie. I immediately ask where the bathroom is and they say downstairs. An epi-pen was not offered nor was allergy medication or refund or any help of any kind. Luckily because I spat it out and ran to the bathroom to throw up and self inject I was able to avoid anything serious.
Major danger here, they need to be more aware and alert. Very disappointed as the brownies did look tasty. Could have potentially very dangerous situation if I had a severe allergy to nuts luckily I’m much more mildly allergic where I won’t immediately go into shock.
Fat Witch Bakery/White Chocolate Brownie:
On a positive note, the packaging has an artistic nature and it definitely caught my eye. But it’s kind of strange for a bakery to have a Halloween theme all year round. For a brownie that was the size of an Oreo, I could have lived without it.
I wouldn’t recommend this bakery since it’s VERY overpriced and the brownies don’t even taste like brownies. Very light flavour.
Delicious brownies! Love them!
Baby brownie so cute
Been ordering from Fat Witch for a few years now. Their brownies are always so moist and dense plus the shipping is fast....This time my order came in a cute little Valentines bag and ribbon 🥰

I bought it as a souvenir and was pleased with it. Brownies are undeniably delicious.
Over $5 for a regular size brownie. Over $3 for a bite size one. It's super sweet, definitely need something to off-set it like milk or tea. Possibly even some chips. A good brownie regardless. It is definitely an indulgence item.

I've had the Fat Witch Bakery cookbook for many years, and always wanted to order from them to try the real thing. I ordered the 8 baby pack for delivery to TN, and it was almost $40. I didn't expect the size to be quite so tiny, but that could be my fault for not reading. They are a couple of bites each. I did get 8 different flavors to try, and so far they've been okay at best. I think my favorite was mint, and my least favorite was honey. None of them have really been "fudgy," but much more cake-y.
For the price, it's not worth it, to me. I would not order online again. I guess I get to say I at least tried it!

I used to really love this place. Always visited to pick up a couple of brownies when in chelsea market. Recently went and tried a couple of the new flavors (there was a whole bunch) and nothing really stood out. Came to find out that the owner changed and now the brownies are smaller in size, less flavorful, and more expensive. Their end of day unwrapped
brownies used to be the best deal and now it's gone. Probably won't be back.
The brownies are really delicious and come in different variations/varieties.
However, they are really a bit too expensive for the size.

I heard that brownies are famous, so I bought two mini flavors.
After trying it on its own and half way through it, it was ordinary! I don't know why it's famous. The owner was friendly. And of the two, the basic one was more delicious.
Since it's cheap, it would be a good idea to just buy one and taste it!
