Horrible food and horrible service! Order a salad with my entrée and was shocked to find a big dirty bug inside, I asked for the manager and a person by the name of Marco (Rude and horrible owner) came over. Explained what I found and showed it to him, he did not seem to care at all or have any sympathy about this nasty bug ruining my evening and appetite. Marco was very rude and did not even offer to bring me another salad at the bare minimum. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED RUDELY AND ENJOY EATING BUGS, GO HERE!

We went late at night for the reggaetón night on Friday night. The music was amazing! Bad bunny, Ozuna, etc. unfortunately there were only 6 people total. Even the bouncer was telling us how surprised he was for how empty it was. We had a drink and left. Such a shame because the music was SO good. We really wanted to dance

Definitely worth visiting the food was delicious, drinks just right,* service warm and friendly and the ambiance nostalgic of Cuba. My server was from Guatemala not only was he excellent at his job he was a great ambassador to his native country. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Update this restaurant is still open and needs our business l visited today...see... updated pictures my meal was delicious as always I must say that I love the consistency of the menu.

Planned holiday dinner with old coworkers. The 10 of us dinner at Favela and enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance. Music was a little low and would have appreciated it a little higher to give more of a spanish feel. Drinks were strong enough, appetizers were very tasty, and the restaurant had nice decor. Will definitely return for date night.

Loved this warm and inviting place in The Village in Laguardia Place. I went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't crowded. The space isn't big but there's enough room for people to feel comfortable. I loved the bar stools in the shape of Congas. The art on the wall and the plants give it a feel of the tropics. I ordered the Empanadas. It is two per order. I had the ones with Pork filling, they were ?. The Aji and Pickled Red Onions on the side give them an added layer. The Pork was cooked to perfection. The drinks are good also. I had the Capirinha, the drink of Brazil. The bartenders are very nice. The prices are reasonable and they have a great Happy Hour. They have a Happy Hour from 12pm to 7pm with beers at $7 and Cocktails at $9. They also have some lunch specials. Then they have another Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm which include different food items, such as, Oysters. I have to return for that. The music playing was good and at a good volume. I will definitely be coming back here.
