Refused service animals entry..... most of their bread is either overbaked or it's overnight.... their dessert has been sitting inside the glass for months
This was a casual unplanned stop. Excellent pastries, smoothies and friendly service. This is a hidden gem
My sister and I have been to this place many times and the last time was there ordered curry puff and egg tarts. The food was wonderful. The service was good, and the atmosphere was that there were people in their eating, and people ordering for take-out.
The buns were good and filing was decent, that is, until I bit into a sesame bun and a long hair came out with my first bite. Needless to say, I threw the rest of the box away. Come on, do better.
Fluffy cheesecake
Mango mochi had decent mango flavor and was affordable. However, it was too soft and lacked the satisfying chew you expect from mochi. I also wasn’t a fan of the coconut flakes on the outside.
Pure heaven!! Never felt rushed. Always enjoyable. 🥰
Get the steamed egg custard buns for $1.75!!! You won’t regret it.
Tried japanese Cheesecake and Spongecake. Very tasty and good pricing. I recommend it!

Fay Da Bakery was a great stop for bubble tea. The hot bubble tea was only $5, the cheapest we found in Chinatown, and the quality was excellent. The bakery had a lively and bustling atmosphere, with a self-serve setup where you grab what you want and pay at the counter. The staff were friendly despite how busy it was.
One thing to note is that there’s a $10 minimum for card payments, so it’s best to bring cash if you’re just getting drinks.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely go back.

We visited Chinatown in NYC and tried multiple places for food. This spot was a random walk-in, and wow—what a find! The bakery items we bought are now our breakfast, and they are absolutely spot on! So creamy and perfectly chewy! Love it!

Protect your peace and don’t go here, there are wayyy too many better places in the area.
I work in the service industry so I’m not one to complain but the way I got played at this cafe is ridiculous, all over 50 cent boba. As you can see on some of the menu photos there’s a whole section for “pearl tapioca tea” so you’d think when you order one from that menu it comes with the bubbles. After paying I discovered that it didn’t, and I just went up to have it fixed. The lady told me that I didn’t pay for it….i go but it’s called “pearl tapioca tea” it’s on the name. She starts basically screaming at me saying it’s not included. I don’t want to cause a scene so I just slide my tea over and ask to pay for the boba. After this she goes “no, we are out”…..I mean you can see how silly this is. If I were you I’d avoid at all cost
