Villa Manodori Artigianale Balsamico
Villa Manodori Balsamic vinegar is the labor of Massimo Bottura, Chef Patron of the three Michelin star restaurant Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy. He produces this artisanal balsamic vinegar in very limited quantities. Villa Manodori begins with locally grown grapes, which are reduced into must, and then aged in different wood barrels. Villa Manodori's dark color and rich aroma reflect a century of family tradition. Aceto Balsamico perfectly glazes steak, pork and poultry. Add it to sauce or drizzle it over risotto or sliced Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Toss greens such as arugula and radicchio with aceto balsamico, then add a swirl of Villa Manodori Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a pinch of salt. Our experience at Felice was amazing. My husband and I loved the ambiance and how elegant the setting was. Food was great and not overpriced. Another highlight for us, was the service by our server Ariadna. Ariadna was super friendly, attentive and had great suggestions!

Felice 56 in Manhattan absolutely blew me away, especially the Pesto Gnocchi. The gnocchi was pillowy soft, practically melting in my mouth with every bite. The pesto was incredibly fresh—bright, herbaceous, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of pesto and Buratta. Every ingredient tasted like it was handpicked that morning, making the dish feel both luxurious and comforting at the same time. This is a hidden gem inside a well appointed hotel. The selection of pastas is excellent. The Conchiglie ala Salmone was delicious - perfectly cooked fresh and smoked salmon in a nice pink sauce . The Pappardelle Salsiccia had slippery pasta that soaked the sausage meat and slurp worthy sauce. The Ravioli della Cassa was enjoyed by my vegetarian wife. We shared a tiramisu to end the lunch and it was pretty decent.
