I've been wanting to come here for awhile a d it didn't disappoint! Had the shrimp bowl and it was excellent, don't change a thing, flavors and portion were perfect and on point. Got to sample the fried chicken and braised chicken bowls that friends ordered and all bowls were nicely packed portions and flavorful meals. I really wanted the Jerk meatball bowl but they're not serving it at the moment but it looked delishoous. Visited the Mornigside campus by Columbia University, if your in the neighborhood stop by and check them out, you won't be disappointed ??.

Pretty good! One of the better bowl spots around here: tried the meatballs and tasted nice. Significantly better than sweetgreen close by!

Had a really good experience here. Team was friendly and they had lots of options for dietary restrictions. Recommend putting sauce on the side and mixing on your own so you can enjoy at your own taste.

Delicious every time, generous portions, well priced, and fresh! Fast casual spot with seating for a dozen indoors plus 8 outdoors. Black owned, family owned. I’ve had chicken, fish, herbed rice and jollof rice, greens and mixed veggies, yucca chips, and my boyfriend and I both love the pineapple ginger drink! I’ve eaten rice bowls on MealPal at lunch and ordered outside of MealPal too. When I’m with my boyfriend we’ll order a bowl and an extra side of protein and it’s the perfect size for us to share.

The food was fresh and delicious for a good price point and generously portioned. Wish there was a more customizable menu. Side portion of protein was small. Closes earlier than similar eateries in the area.

LOVE Fieldtrip but mot a fan of this location. When I get delivery it’s usually from the Harlem / 116th location. Unfortunately my food came from this locations and it was not good. Chicken and sauce tasted like it’s been sitting out. Least favorite was definitely the Wok Veggies being 80% onions (like the biggest thickest cuts of onion) and hardly any greens. I’ll just try to order (if possible) from the Harlem location from now on.

Delicious. Had the roast chicken bowl and the jerk meatball bowl. Both great. And a great value. Would order from here again!

Vegetables were not fresh at all. Rice was stale. Jerk meatballs were extremely salty. I do not recommend.

Really bad salad.

Poor ingredient quality - the lettuce was rotting, pickled onions had skins, soft cucumbers.

Barely prepared - Lettuce wasn’t dried or cut, cucumbers weren’t fully diced, and pictured ingredients were missing.

I’ll first start this review by saying I love the food. So original and good. But SO overpriced- especially for what you get. And I’m noticing they changed their bowls to be smaller, reducing portion size. $16.50 for this small bowl and I would love to leave a tip, but can’t because of how damn expensive it already is. For this price I get a better deal at Sweetgreens.

It is hard to find a good balance where healthy food could also be tasty! FieldTrip has done it! My salmon bowl was packed with tons of goodness that was so delicious, even as a next-day meal. Just know this is a fast-casual dining place where customer service isn't the focal point.

came to FieldTrip via a promotion. it’s a casual food option located near Columbia University serving up a Caribbean-Asian-American influenced menu made of a variety of rice bowl options, salads, and more. superclean modern brightly-lit interior with a some seating. ordered a roasted chicken rice bowl—seasoned roasted chicken chunks, wok-sautéed vegetables, avocado cilantro sauce, and pickled red onions on top of a heap of jollof rice. really enjoyed how the different flavors of the chicken, vegetables, and rice came together for a enjoyable savory meal. and the pickled onions is a nice touch to add some acidity to cut through the rich flavors for a palate refresh. the friendly service was smooth in terms of taking my order and packing it up neatly to go. definitely would eat here again for a filling healthy-feeling meal.

Discovered this place just couple weeks ago and very happy with my experience so far. Great place with delicious and healthy food. Interesting options, big portions for very reasonable prices. The service is also great, very friendly people are working there and making sure to get ready orders on time. It's now one of my favorite places in the neighborhood!

Vegetarian options: There are great options for Vegetarians. Testy and fresh.

I have been buying food from FieldTrip...pretty much since the Morningside Heights branch opened, I think. They really saved my life earlier this year when an injury left me completely unable to cook, and most of the take-out options were....not the healthiest. At FieldTrip, my favorite thing is their stir-fried veggies! They are legit delicious. So I get a really tasty dinner that's also good for me. It's a win all around.
