I ordered the Mambo roast chicken bowl from the location in Rock Center and it was incredibly dry and tasteless. The best part was the brussel sprouts. I should have just bought a side of brussel sprouts and maybe a drink. For over $18, it was mostly rice, a tiny bit of dry chicken, and a scoop of the brussel sprouts and a scoop of crispy shallots. The rice and chicken did not have any particular flavor except salty. I was so thirsty after the first couple of dry bites, I couldn't finish it and we'll definitely need to bring it home and put some sauce and re-cook it all.

Mamba chicken bowl was tomato-y and the vegetable stir fry was good, oxtail eggroll was disappointing however.

I was so sad to hear they no longer have the jerk meatballs they were my go to pick. Then I got to pick up meal pal lunch today and after waiting 5-7 min am told the chicken will not be ready for 15 minutes so can I take the beef. The food is great but they need to work on the prep time especially for meal pal when you know people are coming at a set time.

My first time visiting. I had the crispy fish and collard green rice bowl. The fusion was scrumptious. I cannot wait to try the other bowls.

I wanted to try something new for lunch, went to Fieldtrip at peak lunch hour the service was fine but the food was not worth it. I got the most flavorless chickpea curry in the world also the falafel had this goopy texture really off putting. I paid $20 for this Bowl mostly was filled with collard greens. Definitely not worth it, you can find amazing options for $20 somewhere else.

If you're willing to wait 30-40mins for your food. Buy here.

I want to like this place, but with 50 health / sanitary violations the only right way to care about one’s health is to go somewhere else.
Healthy, good flavors, not too expensive. I remembered the portions being larger, but maybe it depends on your server.

I had to check out Field Trips while I was in NYC because I have their recipe book. I was disappointed that it was basically a fast food restaurant but the chickpea curry rice was delicious!

Food is pretty good but the portion control is terrible. My bowls during lunch time are getting smaller and smaller. Just got a bowl today where I can literally see the bottom of the bowl because of how little food there was.

Came here for lunch when I was employed and the food is really good. The flavors are not overpowering and very subtle but still tasty. Portion is really good as well. Service is great. And the drinks are good. Some seating space and decent price.
I was happy they had sorrel and pineapple ginger drink, which I am familiar with. I really liked the fish. And the sauces.

I wouldn’t seek this place out again, but the salmon bowl with pineapple fried black rice is a nice & filling choice if you find yourself at Rockefeller in need of a quick bite
Horrible service, the young lady at the front is so nasty and mean to customers I understand being near closing and being upset but her attitude to that old man was terrible she shouted at him that they’re closed as well as didn’t raise her head to greet customers was on her phone and not paying attention terrible experience she should be spoken too about her behavior
