Associate was on the phone with a personal phone called the entire time I was ordering. Portion sizes are not very generous.

I'm unsure why reviews are so mid. After sampling the incredible coco rice grits, which is fragrant, sweet and soft/sticky, I made a bowl of that, plantains + fried fish. It was excellent! The lemonade is phenomenal as is the turmeric drink. The sorrel is relatively bland. Woman beside be was tearing up her salmon bowl! I want to try that, the shrimp and jerk meatballs. Register could def be more friendly. Wish there were Queens locations

I love the braised beef bowl— I’ve had it twenty two times thus far. It’s my office lunch time ritual.

Also Ms. Keima is the best!!!

I am lucky to have FieldTrip walking distance from work. I come here almost every week and I know my experience here will be the best every time I’m greeted by Kima. From suggesting new food options from the menu, to ensuring I have a great time when coming to this location, she always puts a smile on me. I enjoy the food very much but having such great staff like Kima makes my experience more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this location.

I entered this location at 645pm on a Wednesday & was waiting nearly 5 mins to place my order despite being the only one there, NO GREETING NO NOTHING!

I got two fried chicken bowls & the rice was delicious & the vegetables were crunchy but the CHICKEN was DRY there was no moistness to it at all.

The crab pockets tho were spot on that blue crab meat was most definitely real deal.

Will I go back to try another bowl?
Yes maybe a shrimp bowl

When?
No time soon

My coworker and I stumbled upon Fieldtrip during a trip to the city while trying to get a quick lunch. The service, atmosphere and food are excellent!! We loved it so much that decided to come back the next day. You can tell the food is fresh, flavorful and just so delicious! I loved the falafel and my coworker really liked the jerk meatballs. Oh and definitely give the ginger pineapple lemonade a try! Wish we had a store in DC!!

I recently had the pleasure of trying jerk meatballs, and they were amazing. The meatballs were juicy, and season well with their signature jerk seasoning.

Whether you’re a fan of Caribbean cuisine or just looking for a unique twist on traditional meatballs, these jerk meatballs are a must-try. They’re bursting with flavor and are sure to leave you wanting more.
