To begin, the hotel took out a $300 security deposit, $100 for each night we were staying there, and promised we would get it back as long as we did not damage the room. However, my friend and I only were in the room to sleep and did not leave any damages and never got our security deposit back. The hotel said we should contact our bank to receive the deposit back but we were told by our bank the money had DISAPPEARED. Therefore instead of it being a hold, it was a charge even though the hotel said AFTER we even checked out we would get our money back. We also received a knock on the door when we were late for check-out that if we came down in the next ten minutes that we would not be charged a late check-out fee which is a fee equal to half a night's stay. However, regardless of the fact that we were down in FIVE minutes we were still charged the late check-out fee. The hotel could not refund us because they said they were unsure which employee told us we would not be charged. Overall, a scam. The neighborhood and rooms are clean and nice and come with a kitchen. But that is it. I will not be staying here again!

I can't for the life of me. Understand why my mother could barely watch TV. For the whole six days she was there. she complained to the desk. How her TV would constantly cut of if you used the guide. They sent someone up to fix the problem. But he couldn't rectify the problem. So she watched that one News Channel every day. Because if she tried to go to the guide. To find something else to watch her TV shut down. I will never send my family to your hotel again. I paid to much money to keep my mother comfortable. And she was uncomfortable her whole stay there. That's very unprofessional & I will never send another family member. Or myself for that matter. To your establishment again. To be honest i should have been financially compensated for her trouble. But that's another story.Anyway have a blessed and productive day.

Amazing location, apologetic front desk but the worst service that you can find. We are here for a 2 month stay and are done with 1 month stay. It’s been a nightmare to get the suite cleaned. The cleaning staff is very rude and overall does an extremely shoddy job. It’s supposed to be a serviced apartment but the cleaning is limited to washing of utensils, making the beds Abd superficially cleaning the bathroom. Half the times they forget to replace the hand towels. The terrace is never cleaned. I was told that they would clean the kitchen shelves and slab only once we leave. Multiple complaints to the front desk has one standard reply, ‘oh we are sorry’! The rooms are shabby with dirty carpets and torn blinds. Fab location with terrible service and not a cheap deal.WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

This hotel was great. There was a lot of room. We had our 9 month old with us and they put us in a great spot. The bellman was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend.

While the location is optimal, the convenience is not worth the stay. The AC hasn't worked for two days, and they've told us the AC was out on the entire side of the building and they were working on it. After being told it has been fixed, still not working properly. The cable was out the first day so we couldn't relax with TV in the background after a long day of sight seeing. Find somewhere else to stay.

Great location with lovely restaurants and stores a few steps away. The service is attentive and I noticed it had good housekeeping. Overall a good place to stay for vacationing or business in Manhattan.

Stayed here a few years ago. Decided to book a one bedroom suite for two weeks. Spent my first night and I am already looking for another place. Noises are everywhere. From a dog barking next door to a party right above us! You cannot stay quiet in your room. Furniture and carpets are old and dirty. I was expecting much more from a $7,000 bill! Just avoid it. It is not worth the price.

The man at the front desk was more interested in telling the person on the phone to book online than checking me in. I finally just snatched the key card and went to my room only to find out my neighbors were having a DANCE PARTY with MASSIVE speakers blaring. I'm no Karen so I just left and wrote this review. Also ghetto atmosphere in the lobby. STAY AWAY unless you like ratchet $240/night loud hotels.

Had to change rooms because of pot smelling in allway. Still smelled pot smoking on new floor. Furniture was worn and dirty. Window in bedroom had extenstive water damage. We always stayed here every year when needing a midtown address. No more!

A Beautiful quiet location. Clean...beautiful and spacious rooms.. Convenient to get to. ..subway a block away...valet parking and plenty of paid parking around. Plenty of Restaurants, bakeries and stores nearby.. walking distance. Amazing and friendly staff

Traveling for the first time during Covid, I expected some blips because it is what it is. First time back to NYC and originally was supposed to quarantine for 4 days then right before travel, new regulation-Have vaccine, get out of quarantine free card!! Booked this hotel originally due to quarantine because it had a kitchen plus having family on the East Side, this hotel was convenient to their place. Quick check in, friendly doorman and front desk. Went up to room and unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned. Back to front desk and explained the situation. Apologies and could we give them about an hour to rectify the situation. Having lived in NYC, we went out and ate...great food all around the hotel. Returned to the hotel and was given a different room. BOY!!! Did we get a HUGE different room! We had originally booked a 1 bedroom suite and what we were given in exchange was a one bedroom suite with a terrace. If this was an apartment, I would've bought it because it was so spacious. The housekeeping during the week was spotty maybe every other day. That was ok...didn't need new sheets everyday so we just asked for clean bath towels and they were delivered quickly. Will be traveling again the end of summer and will be staying here. Hopefully the Covid kinks will be worked out and can upgrade to Excellent my review.

The room and location are fine but they really try to nickel and dime you, which really detracts from an otherwise good experience. There are no umbrellas available for guest use when it is raining, unless you want to purchase an overpriced one from them. Also there are no bottled waters provided in the room, only $8.50 bottles available for purchase from the front desk. if you book through a third party website, be prepared for an extra $45 dollar per night charge for use of the workout room, which is normally included in the base cost for other hotels.

We needed a hotel when our apartment lost power. This was a great option. The hotel was comfortable and spacious. Great bed. Great amenities. And next door was a nice restaurant with tasty takeout. The staff was friendly They saved us. And we would definitely recommend it to our visiting friends
