Fun speakeasy-type spot in an art gallery above a dive bar. Pretty unique its own right, with tasty drinks and eclectic music. Bartender Zac provides some of the friendliest service around! Definitely a spot I will come back to.

Wow what a cool place! I came here with a few new friends and I loved the whole vibe. Must get the chai martini. SO DELICIOUS. Alas, like all places in nyc drinks are about $20 ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ so a tad too expensive for my taste. A great date spot, but hard to meet new people based on the two times I went. Two very odd notes is that when there was really good music, I swore there was a dj. But I think after 12 or 1, they started playing 70s/ 80s music and it turned into an odd karaoke style gen z singing bar. Totally took away the charm of the place for me. Doubt I’d go back at night again. Still recommend!

The low lighting, vintage decor, and soft music create an effortlessly cool atmosphere that’s perfect for a date night or catching up with friends.
The cocktail menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a great mix of classic drinks and creative concoctions. I tried the a drink and it was expertly crafted—balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The bartenders know their craft and are happy to recommend drinks based on your preferences, which adds to the overall experience.
While the drinks were stellar, the service could have been a touch more attentive. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it felt like the staff was stretched a bit thin during busier times. A little more interaction or speed would have elevated the experience even further.
The vibe of Fig 19 is what really sets it apart. It manages to feel both trendy and relaxed, making it a place you want to linger for hours. The only downside is the seating—it’s limited, and getting a spot during peak hours can be tricky. I’d recommend arriving early if you want to snag a good spot to enjoy the evening comfortably.

Cool speakeasy bar even though it was fairly obviously what was going on behind the art gallery - the entrance had a door handle and you could ear the beats (which were great) before you entered. Inside is cool with high unfinished ceilings and there were a lot of Halloween decor. Atmosphere was 5 of 5 until so many people came in at one time - it was a little claustrophobic for a bit.
