Wonderful Creole restaurant in NYC. If you can’t get to New Orleans, this place hits the spot in so many ways. Food, atmosphere, and service are incredible. Crayfish flatbread was good, chicken and beignets, a take on chicken and waffles, was excellent, gumbo was unmatched, and barbecue shrimp very good. Drinks are great too. One of the few restaurants we have no qualms about returning to. Highly recommend.
Wonderful meal here. The food was delicious, including the non-seafood options. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The music adds to the ambiance but it was still easy to talk. I live out of town but the next time I'm in NYC I hope to be back.
I can't wait to go back! The service was fantastic and the gumbo is out of this world! I lived in New Orleans and used to get gumbo from a local fish store that I thought could never be duplicated, but Filé Gumbo proved me wrong. Everything I ate was delicious, the pimento, the crawfish bread, the andouille po' boy... Both spirit free cocktails I tried were also amazing. If I lived closer it would be hard not to go everyday.
