I had super high hopes for Filet. Let's start with the good. The crawfish bread was delicious. Service was on point and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I came primarily for the chicken and andoullie gumbo. There was something off with it. I couldn't figure out exactly what it was but it seemed to be missing something. I added some salt and the flavors popped a little more. I ate the whole thing but was left wondering what was missing. I finished with Beignets...
The food was amazing. There was a live band and a bottomless drink special for weekend brunch. It was my birthday, and one of the employees (a great singer) sang to me.
Vegetarian options: There is vegetarian gumbo. There are a few sides, salads, and appetizers that don’t have meat, but most have seafood or other meats.

Really nice place, good food, just keep in mind you can’t make any substitutions in the food. Also , I was there for an anniversary dinner and they didn’t fulfill the anniversary desert request even though as we walked in they confirmed they would have it for us.
