Service is great. Their bread pudding is delicious with nice cup of tea. Nicely portioned. the ambiance is very comfy. Moderately priced for the Area.
Looks good, tastes ok. Free Madeleines for kids sometimes.
This is my number one choice for catering business lunches and dinners. They have a wide variety of selection whether it be wraps or sandwiches. Their pastries are d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. Their catering manager, Kathleen Gallo, and Chef Richard provide Number One service. They're always available and happy to attend to our "all of a sudden" requests no matter the size. This is an exquisite choice. Thank you for the almost 20 years in the Financial District. Kudos!
I really wanted this place to be good. It’s such a cute café with a great location downtown. The atmosphere is really nice. But as soon as you enter there is a cold vibe from the staff. The service is hardly what one might cal “friendly.”
There's something about the cakes here that just has me hooked. The one with fruitiness, like raspberry/passionfruit/blueberry, are just so delicious. I like that they're lighter than most of the cakes you can get elsewhere, which are sometimes just overly rich and creamy. Financier just makes cakes with really balanced flavor profiles, that you take one bite of and can just keep on eating. A little pricey but worth every bit of the price for special occasions. My family is hooked and we keep buying these whenever we celebrate a birthday.
Really cute shop! I went in for pastries for the holidays and I was surprised by how cute the yule log cake was.
Financier has great pastries and cakes - croissants, macarons and light meals. Good spot for a casual coffee or tea and a cake.
Coffee is burnt. Poor service from the rest of the staff.
I love Financier but at this location they sell NOT fresh pastries! Management problems though, not the bakery.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. I had a fraisier and it’s delicious. It was affordable and I would honestly come back.

Best pain au raisin in a long long time!!! And the coffee too is amazing
This coffee shop is oddly placed on Stone Street but it's exactly like all of the others so it's a predictable experience and great for a small catch-up with a colleague.
We just had a small tarte there, but that was really good, super friendly and fast service. When you are at the battery park or near the fearless girl, i would suggest to visit this patisserie as well.
This is perfect for coffee but with all the great coffee house in NYC, Financier is average. It is clean and the people are very nice but there are so many special coffee houses that offer special homemade items!
The fruit tart I ordered was MOLDY. The manager tried to claim it was powdered sugar until I pointed out the green fuzzy spot on the raspberry. I asked her to refund me but she said she couldn't because I used LevelUp and told me I had to contact them. LevelUp in turn says only the merchant can issue a refund. Now I have to issue a chargeback. Gross food experience and frustrating customer experience.
