I haven't been able to go since the pandemic began, and I am so looking forward to going back. They have very nice lunches (sandwiches, salads), and the pastries really are delicious. When I go to my office, I have to avoid going by, because their things are so delicious that I have a hard time resisting their pastries . . . .

Top fine quality French pastries. Makes wonder how pastries really taste in Paris if this is that good!

Came for dessert with my friends after being in the downtown Manhattan area. First off, the customer service was incredible. The workers were so sweet and helpful and honestly made my day. The inside of the cafe was also extremely cute. When I went, I was one of the only people there even though the place was huge. This was probably because I went at an awkward time (around 4pm). I got the blueberry cheese cake tart and I highly recommend it. The prices were reasonable as well.

Service is great. Their bread pudding is delicious with nice cup of tea. Nicely portioned. the ambiance is very comfy. Moderately priced for the Area.

Looks good, tastes ok. Free Madeleines for kids sometimes.

We ordered Almond croissant, hazelnut and pistachio macaroons along with hot chocolate. The almond croissant was one of the best we ever had. The hazelnut croissant had just the right amount of creaminess. The pistachio macaroon was a bit chewy though.

This is my number one choice for catering business lunches and dinners. They have a wide variety of selection whether it be wraps or sandwiches. Their pastries are d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. Their catering manager, Kathleen Gallo, and Chef Richard provide Number One service. They're always available and happy to attend to our "all of a sudden" requests no matter the size. This is an exquisite choice. Thank you for the almost 20 years in the Financial District. Kudos!

I really wanted this place to be good. It’s such a cute café with a great location downtown. The atmosphere is really nice. But as soon as you enter there is a cold vibe from the staff. The service is hardly what one might cal “friendly.”

Just...don't do it. It's just gross. Was recently at the FiDi location and ordered an egg, cheese and tomato breakfast sandwich. It's as if they just couldn't care less about their customers. The brioche was cut poorly so that the bottom half was so thick it didn't even toast (the middle of the bread was cold and flavorless), and the tomato had the fibrous middle stem bit still in it which I had to eat around and the tomato was cold and flavorless. If you are serving tomatoes in January, it makes sense they need to be fried a bit to give them a better texture. What a waste of calories.

There's something about the cakes here that just has me hooked. The one with fruitiness, like raspberry/passionfruit/blueberry, are just so delicious. I like that they're lighter than most of the cakes you can get elsewhere, which are sometimes just overly rich and creamy. Financier just makes cakes with really balanced flavor profiles, that you take one bite of and can just keep on eating. A little pricey but worth every bit of the price for special occasions. My family is hooked and we keep buying these whenever we celebrate a birthday.

Came here on a whim and had the salmon croissant. So delicious and one of the best croissants I have ever had. Yum! And very cute interior!

Really cute shop! I went in for pastries for the holidays and I was surprised by how cute the yule log cake was.

Really cute shop! I went in for pastries for the holidays and I was surprised by how cute the yule log cake was. I purchased a chocolate chip cookie, the tiny chocolate mousse cake, and the tiny modern yule log. The chocolate chip cookie is hard on the edges but soft towards the center. It can be a tad sweet, but I can see how people would like to order coffee or tea with it. The mousse cake is the perfect flavor of chocolate. It's not too sweet or too bitter and it's a strong chocolate flavor. The modern yule log is made from pistachios, chocolate, and I think cherry? It's cute because it has two tiny mushroom-shaped meringues on it which makes it look more "log-like". There were macaroon shells on the end of the logs and they were surprisingly really good. I would definitely go back for more cakes or macaroons.

Financier has great pastries and cakes - croissants, macarons and light meals. Good spot for a casual coffee or tea and a cake.

Coffee is burnt. Poor service from the rest of the staff.
