Really great experience at Fischer Bros & Leslie Glatt Kosher Caterer and Butcher today (6/17/25). My boyfriend and I each ordered a sandwich - corned beef on rye, heavy mustard, and pastrami on rye, heavy mustard. The sandwiches were delicious, the cold cuts were sliced in front of us, the bread fresh, the mustard - amazing and they were accompanied by a generous portion of fresh coleslaw (it had peppers in it, which we both enjoyed) and a pickle! I guess I’m not surprised, but was hopeful. Instead of making a fuss/scene, when I just picked up my fresh turkey, I thought that my 14.25 lb turkey seemed a bit small/light. Yet, i schlepped it home on the subway. For kicks, I weighed it on our digital scale when i got home, in my westside market bag.
