Happened to stop by this place on it’s last day opened. Place definitely had a lot of potential. You can tell it was part of a historic building. Owner and bartender there were super friendly. Only downside….. he needed to know how to make an espresso martinis. It was like drinking pure alcohol. When you’ve had good espresso martinis the ones that aren’t so good stand out.

Tried this place out for their coffee i got a cappuccino its bitter at first but the third sip got better. Probably would come again and just sit in the dine in area because the ambiance was relaxing.

The lady serving was nice however, the place is dead on weekends in the morning

Came into this place after work to relax at the bar, get a drink and read a book. Around 4 PM there wasn't a lot of people in the place, I was just minding my business. Ivan the bartender was great and the woman bartender as well.

Around 6 PM, I was then accosted by Tony, who I believe is the manager of the establishment, because I just began holding a seat at the bar for my fiancé. The bar was JUST starting to fill up. Tony claimed that I held the seat for 2 hours (wrong) AND I even offered the seat to a couple who politely declined. I had witnessed Tony speaking poorly to his staff even once I first arrived. My fiancé walked in and we felt completely uncomfortable even staying there because Tony was watching us like a hawk. He then proceeded to spew microaggressions towards me - just convenient that I was the only woman of color he spoke to like this. Once he realized I was upset he tried to sweet talk me but by then it was too late.

I would NOT visit this bar again if they continue to have rude management. The bartenders are sweet human beings but no leadership should speak to customers the way that Tony did. I am beyond appalled.

Drip coffee was ok, pastry selection is sparse. On the plus side, plenty of seating. They also like to project YouTube videos.

11.15.24, Friday. 10:00AM. First time.
Ordered: Flat White, French 75
Payed: $24 + Tip
Bartender/barista was relatively nice, drink and coffee were tasty and he followed my request that the flat white not be too hot very well. It was mostly empty at the time I went, but the place is nice looking. Small, though - looks more like a quick after-work place (for rich people) than a place to come hang out. They do serve food and pastries, but I didn’t try any. Would definitely return.

This was the only open place!!! This area is a desert when the office crowd is gone, but we really wanted to stop somewhere on a chilly evening. Glad we saw it behind the scaffolding.

Owner and his employee chatted with us, made us feel like friends. Best of luck. I really hope you do well. I highly recommend this place. We'll be back.

We didn't order food.

This place might be more of the espresso martini / coffee cocktail type of place, but it definitely isn't the espresso only/third wave cafe kind of place.

The flat white was terrible and served in a massive 12oz or 16oz cup (had to ask them to make it half the size).

I'd come back for cocktails but not for morning espresso.

Josh kills with the expresso martinis! Make sure you visit here when you’re in town!

Lots of loud drunks. Was hoping for an intimate atmosphere. Also, they stop serving hot tea after a certain hour??? Legit, walked so far so we can have their curated selection of teas, although the website didn't mention that hot tea isn't served in the evenings??? Like why?

This is a nice spot to grab a drink after work with a homey vibe. If you show up early, you can even start with a coffee or tea and then switch to their cocktails. I recommend showing up before 6 p.m. so you can take advantage of happy hour. The spot also has a good cocktail selection. I personally enjoyed the gin cocktails. They also have wifi and I noticed someone was working in the corner when I arrived.

Finally they are open on the weekends so I finally got to try this place that's been on my want to go list! Lovely cafe situation in the well known Woolworth building that had a classic old NYC vibe. The beanless (atomo) oat milk latte was amazing. Apparently they are one of the only three cafes in the East Coast that carries this cool super food/up- cycled coffee. The barista was friendly. Looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu.

Louis is the only reason to come to the bar! Especially Friday nights when he runs the show! If you love emo music Thursday night is the best time to go because Josh is bartending/djing!
