I was here with a friend and I am thrilled. The location is great. It‘s old-fashioned, has a lot of charm, a pleasant atmosphere and is always well frequented. You can sit outside or inside, where you will find a bar. The staff are very polite and quick. The food portions are plentiful. I particularly recommend the burgers, but actually everything we tried was delicious. From Monday to Friday there are certain happy hour offers that are especially worthwhile. It is a nice restaurant to go out to eat with friends.

Shockingly good coffee, served with whole cream. Great wait staff, smart and intuitive and friendly. This is, however, one of those bars people bring kids to. Still great!

I like their blue point oysters, they are small, but with a very good taste and are $1.50 each (minimum is 10 oysters), available all day. Their "Five Mile Burger" ($18) was served well done when I asked for it to be medium. As a result, it was just okay. It came with French fries or a salad.

I messaged this place inquiring about having a private event using their upstairs space. After some back and forth with the (promoter/manager?) Deborah Gray, she told me I would be able to have the upstairs space at 11pm privately and confirmed via email that it was booked for us. However, when we arrived, the upstairs space was full of people - not booked at all. I actually found Deborah on the floor by accident and she gaslit me into thinking it was my fault and that it was because certain requirements were not met. However, double checking the email string with her, she just lied about booking our spot. The issue was that for groups of 30+ people, it is a $50 minimum per person to book the upstairs space, but we had less than 30, which she confimed prior would not cost the minimum. Very rude service. Will NOT be returning to give them business.

They are very particular when changing the TVs. They refuse to say they can have multiple ganes on at the same time. But then they can if they don't care about who is on.

Basically it seems up to the preference of the bartender, not the clientele.

I was walking around the area looking for something to eat, but I wasn't in the mood for the food being offered. Everything seemed common and boring to me.

Then I bumped into FIVE MILE STONE, and as I glanced over their menu, I saw that they offered Oysters. I couldn't resist, I had to have it. I ordered 10 oysters and a Guinness. They were so good, I decided to order 10 more. Yummy

The customer service in this establishment was also very friendly and helpful to my crave. I appreciate the generous smiles and warm fuzzy feeling that I received from every staff member.

I highly recommend FIVE MILE STONE.

We had a group of 5 and we requested and received outdoor seating. Service was excellent. Food was good. There was a Monday night lobster special which 2 people ordered and were very pleased with their order

Dietary restrictions: We had one person allergic to nuts and another who needed gluten free options. The restaurant accommodated both requests without any issues.

Parking: There was a lot on 84th near 1st Ave

We used to love it here, but the place has really gone downhill. The cocktails used to be well crafted, unique and delicious. But today - the mojito was just 7up with a mint leaf, the aperol spritz was a shirley temple. The waitress was alone managing the whole place- it took more than 20 minutes to even get a drink. At $15.00 a drink we were so disappointed. The food was just below average. So bummed.
