This is absolutely my favorite restaraunt in the world. Food is always fresh and delicious. This place never seem to disappoint. Me and my hubby was here yesterday August 22nd for the lunch special and let me say that lunch portion was huge. They were not stingy with the amount of food they give. I had the chicken and broccoli with yellow rice and my husband he had fried chicken chunks with special house fried rice. Both our meals were super fresh and tasty I had enough left over to bring home. He devoured his food there. Lol. This restaraunt is a must try if you have not already done so.

We came by Flor de Mayo after visiting the museum and are glad we did. The food was delicious and the portions are huge, you can definitely share a plate here. I am a big fan of their chicken dish, super flavorful and juicy. The lomo saltado was good but the chicken was the star of the show, I’d come back just for that. Was a bit noisy inside but you can still hear one another. Would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a bite to eat!
Great experience. Went on a Sunday afternoon. No problem getting a table. The menu is extensive. Take the time to go through it. There are combos and specials every day, except Sundays. The food was fresh. The sweet plantains are on point. The red wine sangria will creep up on you...you won't start feeling it until you finish the glass. The nutcracker is VERY strong! Service was efficient. There seemed to be a lot of regular patrons who already know the staff and the menu. Easy going, comfortable spot. Two thumbs up!

Food and drinks is always good here. When you get your receipt make sure they dont over charge you. Also the bozo tipped him self extra. He lucky I was in a rush and didnt notice until I got home.

Amazing experience in this top notch restaurant. They were very friendly from the start, very attentive and the food was fresh and very delicious. Best roasted chicken I’ve ever had. Pio pio? Forget that this place has the best chicken hands down. The lunch menu is very affordable and it comes with soup and salad. Can’t beat that. I will be coming back here with the fam. Gotta love NY.

When I say the food hit the spot 😋. Soooooo freaking good! The portions are phenomenal, the flavors were to perfection! Our server was very professional and helpful. The drinks was amazing. This is an amazing place. I can't wait to revisit while visiting NYC again. This establishment is on the top of my list.
