While the room was good and the location was great I had a poor experience that created a poor end to my stay. The day before I had talked to the front desk to try and combine my daily food credit from the high destination fee. The breakfast is 40 a person so even on a 5 trip you can only get a single poor quality breakfast for 2. While it was promised that this could be done when I went to check out the very confrontational manager Jorge was unwilling to budge. Even saying that yes even though the employee said that it was allowed. We would have not spent the ludicrous $80 plus tip and tax for such a simple make your own waffle breakfast buffet had we not been told earlier that we could combine credits.

These people are clueless. Their food is disgusting.
I’m not sure what I was expecting from a hotel bar in Times Square but to be honest, I had an F&B credit with the hotel that they were charging me $40/day for so I figured I’d give this place a shot. If you’re trying to use your $20 F&B credit at the Westin Times Square as part of your Destination Fee - just know that a martini is going to cost you more - before the tip. Maybe try a beer. There seems to be a disconnect between the times the kitchen is listed as open in the elevator and the kitchen actually being open. Also, the post-theater food menu is VERY limited.
My dirty vodka martini was fine - nothing special. The service wasn’t great. Not a lot of great seating options if you’re alone. At one point I ended up a communal table with some ladies of the night - they didn’t proposition me, but they were propositioned while I was sitting there - by men who didn’t speak the language they did which at least added to the entertainment value.
And if you’re thinking of using that $20 F&B credit from your Destination Fee for breakfast here - just know that the breakfast starts around $30.
Food wise, opted for breakfast today, and it was barely above the usual Marriott breakfast. The fact that it was a 40$ breakfast bar for literally 2-4 items that I still needed to pick up myself. I will say New York is insane… custom fresh omelet for 20$ Somewhere else, Great! Beyond that..: Say what?? Food was okay. Coffee was okay. But. Not again. Sorry.
I have been here few times before and every time the drinks and service is just amazing.
Alfredo was very helpful and professional.
The drinks and the service are top notch. My go to bar at timesquare and Alfredo is amazing!!
Alfredo took great care of my friends and I! He is so attentive and ensured that we enjoyed our time while dining.
Great service, food and ambiance.

Visited on a Thursday evening before dinner. Wanted to use our hotel dining credit and ordered a couple cocktails.
The Lavender Luxe and Midtown Shake ($21 each) were SO delicious and uniquely crafted. Really enjoyed the flavors and presentation.
Service was friendly and attentive. Prices as to be expected in NYC. Would recommend for a nice pre-dinner beverage.

We had drinks and food here every night of our stay at the Westin. The servers are excellent. So friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Kall! The drinks were cold and the food hot. The menu is a bit limited for kids, but they were very accomodating and did just an order of fries and a bowl of ice cream when requested. We loved sitting in the window watching the people walk along 8th Ave. You'll pay NYC prices. Really great place which I highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: A couple of options. The carrot hummus was great! I had it twice.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed!

The staff is very grumpy, especially an older gentleman who wears a ponytail. It seems that they work unhappily.

As our last meal in NY, everything was excellent, from the service to the food. The server and management make sure everything is well done. The drinks are also incredible. The mixed drinks are well crafted. I had the pizza, glazed chicken, and a chocolate cake, and all was amazing. I would recommend food and drinks

Nothing to get excited about. Food is nothing special with quite steep pricing. Wings were soggy. Salad is just basic lettuce for almost $20. Burgers were mediocre. Nothing stood out. Worst issue was the wait staff. Service is unnecessarily and repeatedly rude which resulted in a terrible experience for our party. Lacking professionalism with conversations, huffing and signing their disgust, etc. No business being in the service field. After our dealing with the waiter, we changed our last order from dine in to take out and we won’t be back. Save your money and eat & drink elsewhere.

This was so good for breakfast. There were so many options and we didn't have to wait long to sit. We will be doing this again soon.
