We came here on the night of 2/16 and had a mixed experience. The space was cozy and stylish and the atmosphere was charming. The issue that we had was that we could not for the life of us get a beverage at the bar. We were a part of a huge group and everyone we spoke to complained about how long it was to get a drink. I personally sat at the bar for 20 minutes (before it was crowded), and the two bartenders ignored me and gave me pretty passive aggressive attitude when I tried to kindly ask for help. And it later became apparent that many friends in our group had the same experience with the bartenders’ services. It got to a point where it was impacting our time there.

Fantastic atmosphere, bar, venue, and staff. The Francis Kite Club is perfect for live events, private parties, or to just stop in for a quick drink. The Jalapeno margaritas are delicious, and we will definitely be coming back!♥️

Came here on a Saturday night, and found a new favorite bar. First off, the bartenders are a gem, super friendly and a joy to converse with. Second, loved the art and how they named the cocktails according to the elements in the art.The Earl Gray tea needs a special shout out here, it is DELICIOUS. the other cocktails on the menu were also great!Overall awesome place, I’ll be back for sure.

I've been watching and visiting this bar from before the opening because Artist Nina Nichols was painting the enormous mythological murals that grace the walls there.Highly recommended! Great peopleat this place.

Super chill artist lounge / social club. Bartenders are friendly, drinks are well priced, and the music is always a vibe. Excited to see a place that wants to be a part of the community open up around here. Would definitely come back.

A breath of fresh air in Alphabet City. It’s not lost on most of us that this neighborhood has changed considerably in the last few years, but this bar is a really exciting and fun reminder of what used to be common here.Had a nice IPA and a delicious cocktail from the menu with mezcal, lime and orgeat. Also had a wonderful conversation with the head bartender. The place looked and felt like home, something that is increasingly less common around the neighborhood.Great prices, great drinks, and great vibes. Beyond excited to visit again.

Really good, unique cocktails (“The Burning of the Merchant’s House” especially). The booth style seating under the mural was comfortable and had a great vibe. Solid add to the neighborhood.
