It was a nice meal but it wasn't my favorite steak house. Perfectly good but not memorable.
Celebrating our Central Park wedding earlier in the day and F&J's was the perfect choice. Steak was tender, and lobster tail was amazing. We sat upstairs, pretty much by ourselves, which was perfect. Definitely recommend.
The Steaks were very delicious. I‘ve orderd a dry age T-Bone medium rare. The quality of the meat was outstanding. Our waitor Abraham was very attentive.
Great visit as always. Good and drinks were on point. The servers are all very attentive. Highly recommend!
Restaurant was outstanding in Abraham our waiter was great and very attentive. We will be back.
Over 20 years ago I had the best steak I've ever had at Frankie and Johnnie's and I could count on always having a great steak there. Not today though, today I had the worst steak I've ever had. I asked for a porterhouse steak black and blue. The steak I was served was at best medium. Their second attempt was very rare, but far from black and blue and although the steak is listed on the menu as dry aged, this was not a dry aged steak. Needless to say I was very disappointed and will not be returning.
It was an amazing and delicious experience. The service excellent. Our server Abraham a true delight and oh boy the food...yum and yum! Thank you.
Beautiful food and the service was perfect. Would definitely be visiting again
It was fine. Porterhouse was great, most other things were ok. Great service though. They apparently moved from the original location and the ambiance wasn't the old fashioned steakhouse we were expecting. Felt more like a cruise ship.
I dined solo at Frankie and Johnnie's and was comfortable ordering and eating at the bar. I ordered the ribeye and Brussels sprouts and both were excellent. There is a good drink selection.

I eat at a lot of steak houses. Cuts of meat were outstanding. Old school ambiance. If you're a bourbon/whiskey aficionado, the selection is impressive. They had Pappy Van Winkel in stock and gave me a tall pour. I will definitely be back.
It was good but not great. The bread was a little dry; the prime beef ribeye I ordered had some gristle in it— for $78 it should have no gristle. The sides were nothing special— too soupy au gratin potatoes and flavorless asparagus. The service was excellent and the venue itself was nice.
Excellent Steakhouse! 37th street location has a little better romantic atmosphere but this is still ok!

Steak was good, juicy and perfectly cooked. Service was polite and professional. The vibe of this restaurant is classic and seems to be famous among tourist and New Yorker. My client took me to this place, and we had a business dinner here, everything went well.

My wife and I and our 15 year old son came in late on a Sunday evening. They were definitely winding down things but took care of us like we were the first customer of the day! Never rushed , as a matter of fact the staff encouraged us to just relax and enjoy their restaurant. Our son had Lamb chops which Roxy deboned for him table side! Such a nice touch. My wife had the sea bass and I had the surf and turf ,lobster and filet, we all shared a Lobster mac and cheese side which was loaded with fresh delicious lobster. We all shared bites of our food with each other as it was absolutely perfectly prepared. I must say we favor fine steak and seafood restaurants and Frankie & Johnnie's is one of the best. Food is very reasonably priced for similar class of dining establishments. Roxy is such a sweet , sweet lady she gave our son another Chocolate mousse for free because he liked the first one and made it instantly disappear . If we lived in NYC we would be here once a week. A definite must for anyone who loves great steak and seafood.
