Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse

My husband and I happen to come across this restaurant while visiting NYC. The food was phenomenal. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was relaxing, yet elegant. Well done Frankie & Johnnie's! Highly recommend.

Great tasting food, laid back live music vibes and awesome atmosphere in the busy part of the city...win for me and my wife.

Everything was going well until our porterhouse arrived. It just wasn't a decent piece of meat. Not tasty, dry, not juicy at all. On top of which it was undercooked for medium and fries came unsalted. We didn't finish it. Bad value for the high price we paid. I've been to 37th a few times now. Not sure if I'll go back - Serious issue with the kitchen, front of house was great.

One of the best steaks I have ever had. My wife's steak was equally outstanding. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Excellent wine list. Attentive and friendly servers. We will be back.

Food and service were great. Husband had T-bone steak which was cooked perfectly medium. Also he had clams casino which he said were the best he,d ever had! I had shrimp scampi with wild rice. Five large shrimp also cooked perfectly and delicious wild rice. We also shared a Sautéed spinach. Too full for dessert, brought leftovers home. Service was attentive and Very professional.

As our visit included a child it would have been nice if they had a child's portion of pasta.

The experience was good. The food was good. Especially the Pork chops. The only issue was drinks. When a drink is ordered, it should not be lessened because you didn't ordered it without ice. When I pay for a drink I pay for the drink, not for the ice.

The food was excellent. My daughter was wishing we could eat the filet mignon every day. The au gratin potatoes were so soft and smooth. Would come back again on our next trip.

Really enjoyed my pasta dish and drinks but really had exceptional service provided by Johnny! Personable, attentive and a warm personality made the dining experience very pleasurable as I caught up with my sister friends!

Best burger I’ve ever had. The freshest beef you will ever taste. Amazing customer service, my water probably got filled up 10 times throughout dinner. Definitely recommend

Every part of our dinner experience was amazing. The Steak was fantastic and cooked to perfection. Juan our waiter was a gem. Awesome in every way.

We went here before a show.. best decision I’ve made.. everyone in my group was happy and raving how delicious the food was! Staff and atmosphere were warm and welcoming definitely be back ! FYI.. leftovers the next day were even more delicious!
