We had delivery of Grandma pizza and it was the Absolute BEST Grandma Pizza I have ever tasted!!! I love the sauce and the crust and the cheese…it was so delicious I had to stop myself from eating more than two squares! It was sooo good!!! Thanks, Frank’s Trattoria!!!

This review is long overdue. I've been going to Franks on First for years. This is my FAVORITE pizza in NYC! I try slices from different places all the time and Franks on First IS THE BEST! I've had many other items from their regular menu as well. Always delicious! I also love the fact that the original owners wife STILL works there. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I've never waited a long time for take out, delivery or dining in. HIGHLY recommend!Vegetarian options: They cater to vegetarians as well.Dietary restrictions: They are attentive to dietary restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair accessible.

I absolutely love it here!!! A true staple of stuytown and Peter cooper village. Pizza in the front, restaurant in the back- so cool, hard to find nowadays. Every server from Rosa to Florentino and Del (Delfino) are just wonderful and very attentive. Flat out great people and great at what they do! Pro tip: the sangria (red or white) is a must!!! I come here at least 4 times a month and each time is wonderful. Very old school, always a good meal and classic ambiance. My two favorite dishes are the shrimp scampi and the chicken piccata. Pasta is always cooked to perfection and even the pizza is solid!

The is the most unprofessional place I have experience. They are rude when you call to place an order and hang up on you. The women answering the phone needs to retire because she can’t understand taking an order and hangs up on you. Not to mentioned the gentleman that may answer the phone if you call back to only get hung up again. Don’t give them your money since they can’t provide proper service!!!!

RUDE!!!! I placed an order and the wrong thing was delivered. When I called back I was hung up on. I called back to be hung up again. DO NOT give them your money since they can't provide correct customer service.!!!!

I was overcharged for food and tried to resolve the issue by phone but was hung up on twice and then informed that the "OWNER WAS ON VACATION". The amount charged on my credit card receipt is different from the amount posted. I have never dealt with such incompetence, and this wasn't my first experience with this restaurant. They have sent the wrong orders numerous times and the woman who takes the orders by phone should not have this responsibility. This business needs to clean up its act and hire employees with "PEOPLE SKILLS". Good luck and looking forward to trying other Italian restaurants, which there are many of in my neighborhood.

I like this place 'cause it has a nice old time feel and I'm right across the street but recently the meatballs have lost all flavor. Listen up, Chef......season those favorites. Last time I ordered, they were sinfully bland not worth the price.
