Just when you think Fresco by Scotto can't get any better, they simply keep setting the bar higher and higher. It all starts when you step inside. The decor is a feast in itself for your eyes, the Scotto family and their longtime dedicated staff are always pleasant and helpful in any way they can. The food is consistently delicious and it's great to go with a group and share so you can taste multiple dishes. And my personal favorite is the vibe they create. The crowd is always ready for a song, a conga dance throughout the restaurant or a special DJ mixing songs that make you want to get up and dance. There's always something fun and festive going on at Fresco and every time I go, I am smiling from ear to ear for days.

What a wonderful experience. We went to Fresco for a birthday and it is wonderful place to celebrate milestones.
It is a very family friendly restaurant for up scale dining and it is festive and energetic. I had the fish and it was amazing.
We were there Saturday night and there was live music from 8-9
We’re not New Yorkers so all the attention and intensity was a bit overwhelming but it was certainly a good time.
Great experience. The Scotto family are fabulous people who serve fantastic food!!

Fresco by Scotto far exceeded my expectations. It is not at all the average Italian restaurant. The menu transcends typical Italian fare and succeeds on every level. The salmon tartare is especially delicious and the desserts are divine including the fluffiest tiramisu I have ever had and a ricotta cheesecake that is incredibly smooth. The service was excellent and I can't wait to go back! My only regret is not going to this restaurant sooner.

Very poor experience. Took my sister out for dinner and found the restaurant trying to be a pseudo-club. Very loud music and a chaotic atmosphere; far from what I expected from such a highly rated restaurant.
The food was so terrible that we paid our bill early and left. Overall, I’d be very hesitant to come here again.
Under the influence of Ben, the newer chef, this place has exploded. It was always a fairly good place to go but has now exploded with better options that are fantastic and can outshine any other Italian restaurant in the city. It’s a bustling energy so not for everyone but the staff is well trained and attentive. Anyway it’s all about the food! If they have the rollatini special make sure to order it as well as the outrageous tiramisu
