Very rude employees, they call you insults thinking you won’t understand which is hilarious. Dumplings were subpar, would not recommend this spot.

Years ago when this opened, it was great. Unfortunately it’s gone *way* downhill. The dumplings now are doughy, flavorless and have no crispy skins or edges from the wok.

**Overrated** I’ve been being people to this dumpling spot for over 10 years. The quality has gone down drastically. If you enjoy cold and greasy dumplings with bad customer service, this is the place for you.
The lady at the counter was beyond rude. The second we purchased the dumplings, she told us we had to walk outside and leave. Surreal experience.
1/10- do not recommend.

The fried dumplings were extremely oily. There was a puddle if oil on the bottom of the container. The smallest order was $5 for 12 or 13 dumplings. Nothing special about the dumplings. Don't believe the hype. Also the employees don't speak any English, only Mandarin. Will not try again.
5$ gets you 13 fried dumplings. Tastes like homemade like your Chinese grandma made them for you. Can buy them frozen too. She speaks enough English to get you want you want. Walk in, no sit down.

My god! This place is worse than trash! The food is terrible! The worst restaurant in the whole Chinatown! I should’ve known better when it’s next to funeral houses!

This is a tiny taste of a street-food-style eatery, but it isn't on the street, it's behind a storefront. It's a must try, and if you don't like the experience, find a place you like. It's unfortunate that she needs to be subject to Google reviews and Yelp reviews and the opinions of every ignorant small town visitor expecting to find a new best friend here. If she seems gruff, it's part of the experience. She doesn't have to serve you if she doesn't feel like it. She doesn't have to accept plastic, either. Cash is king. If you visit here several times, then watch for it - she'll do her best to hold back the briefest of smiles when she recognizes you. Much respect. Good job carving out your own little empire here in NYC.

Quick and very kind service. Clean take out shop. 13 for $5 or 26 for $10. Don't forget to put on the sauces before you leave! There is a park nearby to sit and eat.

I'm sure she isn't worried about my review, but the lady who makes these amazing fried dumplings - in this wonderfully unassuming space - is a special piece of Chinatown's magic. $10 for 26 delicious dumplings, friend to perfection. The property is austere. The owner is focused. The food is outrageous. Grad a large order, sit in Columbus Park, and enjoy!
