Friedman’s Lunch in Chelsea market - cute place and super nice staff.
If you are looking for a good and filling lunch, you will find it here.
Delicious sandwiches with good toppings (Garden Lover: vegan) and really crispy sweet potato fries - there's nothing wrong with that.
Water is free and always replenished, which I thought was really cool.
The service was quick and it tasted great.
I'd love to come back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Chelsea market can be reached with a wheelchair and the restaurant is also accessible at ground level, space is a bit limited but should still be accessible with a wheelchair

I’m sorry people of the US, I don’t get the attraction to pastrami sandwiches.

Did not enjoy it, chips are great, service is outstanding so it’s not a service thing.

Thank you.

This is my favorite brunch spot located inside Chelsea Market. The brunch menu at this cozy and bustling restaurant features popular items like avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, gluten-free pancakes, mac and cheese, and crispy chicken dishes. I ordered
Farm egg omelette, fried chicken sandwich, Mac N' Cheese. This place do get very packed around the noon, so I recommend getting there earlier. They also do take out options.

We went here for breakfast on our NY vacation and had Nova Benny and Eggs with Style. Both dishes really looked like the pictures and tasted delicious, so if you're in Chelsea Market you should definitely take a look here 🫶🏼

Many thanks also to Jarra who served us very nicely 🥰

Everything on the menu can be gluten free. As per the pictures, they even put a gluten free flag. I had a crab cake benny that was really super good and my husband had the pastrami hash and it was as well very good. We highly recommand Friedman Chelsea!

Food was ok. $10 fee for sharing. Rating would be higher but being ripped off isn’t going to make anyone happy. Pastrami was lean. Bread tasted good but fell apart. Had to eat with a fork. Won’t return solely due to the $10 rip off fee.

Take out gluten free chicken and waffles. It was very over cooked which made the chicken dry.

First off, I was impressed by the menu narrowed it down to four dishes and ultimately chose the lemon ricotta pancakes. The picture with the candied lemon rinds all over the whipped cream and pancakes with the strawberries looked scrumptious. My wife ordered the tuna melt. I ordered an iced unsweetened tea and asked for equal or something like that and was brought simple sugar liquid. When I asked again for an equal equivalent, the waiter shrugged his shoulders and shook his head and walked off. Then we got our meals. My pancakes were a bit dry, plain tasting, and there were no candied lemon peels on the pancakes, and did not taste like there were any citrusy taste in them either. The woman next to me has the same and asked her waitress where they were and she said they were out of them. She told me the same thing. The pancakes are called LEMON ricotta pancakes. When I reported this to our waiter, he went to the cook and was told they were in the pancakes and he doesn't put them on the pancakes. If that is actually the case, then do not have a picture of the of pancakes with lemon peels draped over the whipped cream and the pancakes. Also, The tuna melt had a small piece of cheese that covered the middle of the sandwich and not the two thirds on the ends. Then the Electronic pay machine suggested 20 percent gratuity as a minimum, not 15percent. This was not an impressive visit. And change your picture if your are not going to serve it that way. I would not have ordered them then.
