Awesome location, stunning cozy decor and fabulous food! ✨✨✨✨✨
The food was decent, but the service was so inappropriate that I can’t, in good conscience, recommend this place to others.

I have been going to the one at Gramercy. This one is no different- a classic Brekkie place with some of the yummiest omelettes in NY. I love their home fries. Check this out if you are in NY for a sumptuous Brekkie/brunch ?❤️

My friends and I had a wonder time last Sunday. We enjoyed a delicious brunch and had some laughs while doing it. The staff were great and very friendly. The food took a while however we were happy to wait. The vibe for a Sunday brunch was spot on.

Friend of a Farmer on the Upper West Side is a gem with its beautiful, rustic decor and cozy, inviting setting. They have some great vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free options, along with seasonal offerings that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried the salmon with a Brussels salad and cauliflower soup—both light and satisfying—and the tahini veggie panini, which came on fresh, hearty whole-grain bread. The food is lightly seasoned, which may be ideal for those who prefer subtler flavors. It’s a perfect spot for a wholesome, comforting meal in a lovely atmosphere!
Vegetarian options: Many offerings
Dietary restrictions: They easily accommodate dairy free, vegan and vegetarian diners.

The food, service and atmosphere are great — nicer than the original (though fan of that too). Such a satisfying wonderful experience all around!
Dietary restrictions: They made everything to order and even added something that made it just perfect!

Legitimately one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The ambience was nice, but the food and service was terrible. We had brunch there, and had to wait an hour for the food to come out, and over thirty minutes for coffee. And it was just some eggs. On top of that, I have a food allergy, and they included what I'm allergic to when it came out of the kitchen. The service was very aloof, and didn't seem to care. And then we ended up paying $70 dollars, just for two egg plates and coffee. Pretty nuts. Definitely avoid this place, much better options for brunch.

This restaurant is my new favorite breakfast/brunch place. It is located 1 block from central park. The interior design of this restaurant was very warm and welcoming and tables were spaced out. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. The food is the best part , they came out perfectly.

The atmosphere is nice, and the staff were friendly, but the food was mediocre at best. Wouldn’t recommend.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Pot Pie
Beautiful and cozy restaurant however the food was very bland for the price and the hype. Obviously the chicken pot pie was good but nothing spectacular. The egg plant dip was served with two pieces of store bought sour dough, we had 5 people at the table and when we asked for more bread we were charged, really? If you didn’t get a bite with feta it was just hot mush. The harvest crostini was hard as a rock! They also forgot the whipped feta. $18 for hard bread and raw squash, super confusing dish. All of the food lacked seasoning and flavor. I understand it’s a basic “farm to table” menu but that doesn’t mean you need to leave out the seasoning. Really disappointed!

My partner, our puppy, and I had a delightful late lunch this past Sunday, and it was an experience we’ll definitely cherish. I opted for the vegan pot pie, while my partner enjoyed the chicken pot pie. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, leaving us both completely satisfied. Our puppy seemed to have a great time too, happily soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying a bit of puppy-watching. It was a relaxed and joyful afternoon for all of us. We’re so impressed that we’ve already decided to order delivery next time. Highly recommended for a cozy meal with loved ones!
