I’d long oogled over Lucie’s Instagram account and finally I got to visit the bakery irl earlier this week and it didn’t disappoint. A cozy and charming spot with ofcourse beautiful AND delicious cakes. The fromage frais icing was so light and the perfect pairing to the carrot cake. I also loved the earl grey icing on the sponge cake-so inventive and not too floral, just right. Also it’s worth noting that the bakers in the kitchen looked very happy working there which says a lot I think. Hard recommend going here for a slice of calm and something scrummy in the city. Oh and the cappuccinos are so light and frothy! Can’t stop raving x

Not sure what time they run out of cookies but it seems like they always run out of cookies. I've attempted to come here 3 times past 3pm and they're always out of choc. Chip cookies..go early or get nothing. (5 months ago)
(New review current) Ok I finally got a chocolate chip cookie. It was before 3pm. Around noon. They def had choc. Chip cookies. And wow. That cookie was BOMB! Who new just a pinch of salt and some chewy crusted dough was all you needed to reach heaven. 5 stars

Cakes look beautiful but don’t quite live up to the hype. The frosting-to-cake ratio is often off, and the floral decorations are overdone. Tried olive oil cake with lemon frosting, vanilla cake with earl grey, and chocolate cake with espresso salted fudge, the last one was way too heavy. Portions are small for the price. Overall, looks great but taste and balance need improvement.

Stopped by recently to get a couple slices of cake for my birthday. Both the chocolate and carrot cakes were delicious and not to sweet! The chocolate had a really nice light texture and good chocolate flavor. And the carrot cake was moist and well-balanced. Will definitely come back to try more flavors!

Delicious slice of vanilla cake with blackberries and earl grey icing. slice was beautifully decorated with flowers and fruit. $11 for a slice slightly larger than the portion i would serve myself at a birthday party. small shop but there are places to sit outside. definitely will be back!!

tried From Lucie's stout cake at a pop-up today and without ever stepping foot in this bakery before, I now want to go and live there and try every single cake this extraordinary Pastry Chef makes. The stout cake was unbelievable. At first I was amazed by how gorgeous the cake looked. I was in awe of the flowers, decoration, and just absolute loveliness of it. Then, I tasted it, and wow, my son and I stayed quiet for a moment. That's how special it was... I soon went around asking at this pop-up (that had nothing to do with cake) what bakery this cake was from? Who are they? What magic is this? Yes, this cake was magical...I haven't tried like it before...and if you haven't tried her cakes before either, please do. I am so happy we got to and I so look forward to trying another one of From Lucie's creation soon...very soon. If the person who made the stout cake today is reading this... thank you! We absolutely loved it.
Came for the chocolate cookie but they were sold out so we got the banana bread. Delicious and dense. Really good!!! Will come back

I discovered this adorable bakery very randomly, it was actually from searching for a neighboring store on Google maps and I had seen the name so I looked it up and immediately thought how cute it looked, so I added it into the plans and I’m so glad I did. I took a piece of carrot cake to go and when I finally dove in for my bites, I was blown away. I went back a few mornings later and decided to enjoy a piece of carrot cake and an orange blossom latte while sitting at one of the outdoor tables and it was just as delicious as the last and it was such a peaceful area to sit and relax. The staff was so helpful and friendly which made it even more lovely to support this small business. You earned a lifelong customer from Key West and I can’t wait to come back!

Lucie’s place looks like something out of Alice in Wonderland, tiny, warm and cozy with flower-adorned cakes that make the place magical. It looks like a small, neighborhood Parisian cafe. I had the magical carrot 🥕 cake 🍰 with the Rose 🌹 on the top. The cake was moist and fluffy, the icing sweet and creamy, but not too sweet which gives room for the carrot 🥕 with all the good spices. The 2 small tables outside are perfect for a sunny day, the staff at the counter were nice and welcoming, come for the best carrot 🥕 cake 🍰 ever
