No frills steamed bun & dumpling place, apparently a huge wholesale provider for stores in the area! <$10 to feed two people. In the basement of the mall (East Broadway Mall, under the highway), kinda hard to find, but it’s a vibe when you get there!

The ladies work are so nice. Service is super fast. Cash only.

Difficult to find, in the basement of a mall that is mostly abandoned stores
But, if you make it here, you are in for a treat, amazing food for prices from an era long gone. You start feeling like you are finally allowed to call yourself a true new Yorker, in the inner circles of a secret, exclusive club. I doubt scoring a dinner at masa would have the same thrill
