I ordered pasta with beef sauce, but it wasn’t cooked well. The waiter said that’s special pasta then I said to myself I can cook better than your chef lol

Atmosphere feels like if a “live laugh love” sign was a restaurant. Food is really abysmal. Chicken on the parm panino was extremely rubbery, sandwich had next to no sauce and was almost too dry to eat. Mixed greens were inedibly bitter and tasted old, dressing tasted like pure sugar. My companion’s arugula salad was very salty and her chicken was rubbery as well. Save your money and avoid, avoid, avoid.

Great cosistent food and service. Baked clams are the best in the city by far! Waiter Abundio first class, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend trying.

On a tired day, I really wanted to eat Vongole, so I ordered it from Uber Eats.
From a Japanese perspective, I was surprised at how large it was, but it was delicious and had a lot of clams in it!

A Must-Visit for Italian Lovers!

Fumo on the Upper East Side is hands down one of my favorite Italian spots in the city. The ambiance is elegant yet laid-back, making it perfect for anything from a casual lunch to a special dinner. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly service that continued throughout the meal.

We kicked off with their signature meatballs, and they were tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For the main course, I opted for the Rigatoni Gamberi pasta with seafood, and it was incredible—the pasta was fresh, and the seafood was perfectly cooked, with a sauce that had just the right balance of richness and spice. My friend had the margherita pizza, and after one bite, I could see why it’s such a favorite—simple, classic, and bursting with flavor.

The cocktail menu is also worth mentioning—everything we tried was spot-on, especially the Fumo Spritz, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Don’t skip dessert here—the tiramisu is a crowd-pleaser that’s indulgent and perfect for sharing.

If you’re in the Upper East Side and craving quality Italian cuisine, Fumo is a must. The food is exceptional, the portions are generous, and the overall experience makes you want to return again and again. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! Great atmosphere and family friendly vibe. Service on the other hand is beyond slow. They have a thousand waiter but it took no lie 30 min to get a ginger ale, I had to ask for complimentary bread and when we finally recieved our food I waited another 30 min for parmesan cheese! When you get your food you'll be happy but you will not forget the service.

Okay so I never leave reviews unless I have a bad experience. I had one of the WORST experiences at this FUMO location. The way I was regarded here was very disgusting. I sat down and upon me sitting down, I was served tap water. I was not giving the option of the water I wanted which I was taken back because in the other location and every restaurant I go to asks the customers preference. They got the water poured it I never saw them again. No coming to refill the glass nothing. Then I order pizza and fries. Pizza was very warm like it had been sitting out, fries were super hot. I asked for cheese for my pizza. I watched them pour every one’s cheese on their pizza and pasta but puts mine in a small container for me to pour myself. Something definitely felt OFF, and I voiced my concerns to the manager he said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. To the point I asked him for corporate # because the way the business is being ran is disgusting. I don’t know if it’s discrimination or what. But I do not appreciate the service I was given as a paying customer. PLEASEEEE BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!!!! And don’t ignore the signs. Something is definitely off here ?.

This place is a total gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Italian-American cuisine is absolutely fantastic. Every dish is cooked to perfection, with flavors that are both comforting and exciting.
Beyond the food, Fumo has a great vibe. The crowd is always friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a neighborhood hangout.
If you're looking for a place with great food, a great atmosphere, and a great crowd, Fumo is definitely worth checking out!
