They were a little understaffed for a Saturday night -- only one guy taking orders, heating the slices, and working the register so there was a bit of a wait. Not the worst thing in the world, but also pizza is such a grab and go food. Got a margherita slice -- nice crust, but he drizzled hot honey on it without asking me. I like hot honey sometimes but it made the slice worse. Maybe on a pepperoni. And asking customers first seems like the move.
Otherwise East Village on a Saturday night, it's going to be loud. Plenty of seating -- that was good. Prices normal for NY. A solid slice but didn't live up to the hype

My favorite pizza in New York. Sadly it seems they didn’t make it. I have been checking regularly for over a month now and they are closed . ?

Is this place open?? Super disappointed that it was closed today (“National Pizza Day”) when I went by at approximately 3:30PM. Have been twice before and loved their pizza.

My favorite slice in NYC!
The best slice of pizza I ate in NY, simply excellent.
The negative point is that it closed without informing customers, showing that it was open on Google, which made us miss our trip twice.

Pizza is great! Delivery appalling. Ordered twice - they’ve got the order wrong twice. One day I’m sure we’ll get to try the pepperoni…

Pizza is absolutely nasty, they have rats. I saw one after I ordered my pizza. Sanitation is horrible. They won’t last weeks!!!

Delicious pizza! You can taste the difference in good dough, vs dough that's just thought to be a vehicle to get cheese and toppings to your mouth. I tried this place based on a recommendation from Kenji Lopez-Alt and it does not disappoint. The freshly grated parm just before being served is a nice touch also.

The pizza is very crispy, and felt light in the tummy.I had a plain slice for lunch.I had a slice of chicory, burrata, and pepperoni for dinner. This is the order I ate them in. I like the chicory the best. Honestly I didn't really notice the flavor of the burrata cheese. The pepperoni was okay, but it was cold by the time I got to it. Probably would have tasted better if I ate it first.

Thin saucy slice with some crunch in the crust. Their burrata pizza was unique, good layered flavors. Soft mounds of cheese.

The burrata is the best slice of pizza I've ever had, period, and it blew my mind. The white pizza slice was also great but I prefer Joe's white slice because I think Joe's uses more mozzarella. Something for the chefs to keep in mind. The dough and tomato sauce are both perfect; Joe's tomato sauce is way too sweet, for comparison. Great service too, I got a free slice of white because one slice was a little bit smaller than the other!
