I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fushimi. The food was delicious and presented so artfully. The serving staff were attentive and helpful. Our waiter was Haven. The restaurant is of good size, with lovely decor. We enjoyed Lobster Miso Soup, Charred Mushrooms, Pork Gyoza, Rock Shrimp Tempura, Angry Dragon Roll and Mochi Tasting for dessert! I so look forward to going again 🥰

We had an early dinner here between Broadway shows and was not disappointed!! The sushi was so fresh and flavorful! Our server had great recommendations and was promt with refilling our drinks!! Do not skip this place!! It was so good!!

Pros: The staff was knowledgeable for dietary restrictions. The Sunset Blvd sushi roll was good and unique. Cones: The steak might as well have been from Outback; not a good cut, flavor had that cheap, freezer-burned twang to it. The carrots needed another minute in the steamer. The lobster miso soup was good but a little too salty. TLDR: It was all “just okay” but for that price it should have been above average and it just wasn't.

Had pre-theatre dinner here and was very pleased with the brilliant service and delicious food. Servers were incredibly attentive and accommodating, even asking what time our show was to ensure we finished in time to not miss it. Hostess was very friendly when we arrived and we were shown to our seats right away. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff kindly sang happy birthday for my partner and gave us a complementary dessert. A great choice and would recommend, especially for those attending a show nearby.

The environment is pleasant, understated and elegant, with a subtle Chinese influence in the decor that feels comfortable and relaxed. None of the dishes disappointed and everything was enjoyable. The scallops were tender, and the sauce was fresh and well balanced. The steak was slightly more cooked than ideal, but it still had a rich, aged flavor. The side dish was broccolini, which I particularly liked for its crisp texture. When I visited, the restaurant was not crowded, yet the staff maintained attentive but unobtrusive service, which felt just right. I would consider returning again

Have eaten here several times. However, last night was not a good experience. The food was excellent as always. However, when we showed up for our reservation we were told that they were hosting a DJ event. Why they even allowed reservations to be made for diners is beyond us. And it was after a show so impossible to book a table elsewhere at that hour (10:30 pm) on a Saturday nite in Time Square. Very disappointing. Extremely poor management of events. Not sure we'll ever return.

This was our second visit and it was just as amazing as the first. All of the sushi melts in your mouth and the presentation is absolutely incredible. Definitely come with a big party and get the dessert sampler, you won’t regret it.
