Food at Fushimi is excellent. Portions are more than enough. Price is very reasonable. Wait staff are outstanding. A shout out especially to Sara and her Thai colleague whose name I failed to get. Ambience is remarkable and memorable—in fact, instagrammable. Good for intimate and romantic dinner for 2 as much as for groups of 4, which we were, or 5, or 6. We'll definite go back and bring friends again.

We were looking for a place to eat sushi for my sister's birthday and after reading many reviews we decided on this one…The food was spectacular ?‍? the only thing we didn't like was the sangria we ordered, it tasted too much like alcohol and that took away the flavor, it seemed like it was just to get you drunk. But the dishes were delicious, we ordered several sushi: mummy, dragon, eel&avocado, dream (I don't remember well) and they were all delicious

The most amazing experience ever! The BEST sushi we have had, and we know sushi! We ordered the chefs choice sashimi and it was so great we ordered another round. Our daughter, who does not like sushi fell in love with the salmon. The sake and dessert were fabulous as well. Great service and atmosphere. The manager, Berry, made our experience even better with personalized recommendations and his outstanding customer service!!!!!

We made a reservation to go to Fushimi before going to a show on Saturday night and they allowed us to be seated early before the time of our reservation! We were glad because it was freezing and our party of four was starving. The interior decor was great, it reminded me of Fushimi Inari in Kyoto! There was a hallway of orange shrines and the space itself was large and spacious. Once we were seated, we took some time to look over the menu and everything sounded delicious. We started with the rock shrimp appetizer and crab cucumber salad, and both were delicious. We added an order of the roasted duck and it was beautifully plated with a lime mint hoisin reduction. We sampled some of their signature rolls and I had a sashimi and sushi platter for my main course. The fish was very fresh and the presentation was impeccable. Also bonus points for having freshly grated wasabi and not the horseradish version that is often found at restaurants. Our server was very attentive and came by our table a few times to make sure we had enough food. By the time we left we were stuffed, I would say it was one of the best meals ive had around Time Square.

This was top 5 sushi I've ever had. The price point on this with as high quality is unmatched in my opinion. Services was incredible- Aaron and Sarah helped us and made our experience that was already amazing, the cherry on top. The perfect spot to stop before a Broadway show !!!! Have dinner and drinks and finish with their espresso martini to get the perfect boost of energy before your show. Will 100% be back!!!!

Rating: 3.5 stars I came here on a Tuesday night for a private event. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and the private room was well set up and comfy. They gave us a menu where we got a salad, soup and could choose a starter, main and dessert. It took them a while to take our orders and service started out well but unfortunately, food did get forgotten and brought out in very different times so it seemed quite disorganized. But our servers were friendly during the time. The items I had were: -SALAD: They had written avocado salad on the menu but the salad did not have any avocado in it. The dressing on top of the salad was great though. -SEAFOOD BISQUE: There were lots of chunks of seafood in the soup but the flavor itself was pretty bland. The soup did also come with a small slice of bread which was tasty. -BRAISED SHORT RIB: Flavor of the short rib was yummy and I loved the mushrooms and potatoes it was with. The meat was ok, some cuts were more tender than others. But unfortunately there were also a couple pieces that were a little dry. The shitshito pepper that was on the side would have been better if it was roasted to get more flavor. -SUSHI & SASHIMI PLATTER: The fish quality was pretty good and there was a good variety of items. -CREME BRULEE: The dessert was super tasty and came in a large portion. All in all, the food for the most part is good but there were some that were much better than others. However, service does seem a bit disorganized so hopefully it will get better in the future!

Toro was so delicious. A must. Salad is a little bit watery. Seafood soup is so rich. Lobster roll tastes more like shrimp roll to me. Overall it is a good restaurant to go to

We were only in Times Square for 1 night and this was the BEST decision for dinner!! It was within walking distance even with a 6 year old, and the ambiance was perfect. Sarah was our server, she was so nice and excited to tell us about the drink and food menu! So happy she told me about the ‘sex on the beach’ sushi roll because the flavor was everything I was hoping for! They also had a QR code to see photos of the menu. The Interior was SO COOL! The hallway walking in was a great spot for photos! Lastly, the price point was great for being so close Times Square, they had a wide range of prices and quantities so everyone got what they wanted. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: We brought our 6 year old and our server Sarah was so nice and welcoming.

Had a wonderful evening at Fushimi after a Matinee. Sarah was incredible, she was so wonderful to talk to and recommended the best dishes. My only problem and the reason for 3 stars in the atmosphere section was it’s a dark restaurant and the people on the opposite side of the room from us were videotaping all their food with a really bright “instagram ring light” that kept shining in our eyes. I asked them to stop and they didn’t it was honestly cringe and disrespectful. This wasn’t to the fault of the restaurant at all I just wished they intervened a bit more since it was clearly disruptive

We had the most amazing dinner last night! The ambience was perfect, the servers were fantastic and the food was out of this world! The Spicy Tuna Gyoza was one of the best bites I've ever had! The sushi rolls were great and the Fushimi Dessert platter was a perfect way for everyone at the table to try a little of everything! We'll be talking about this meal for years!

An outstanding restaurant. The sushi was top notch, some of the best I've had. I eat primarily nigiri, so it is all about the fish. The sides and apps we ordered were terrific, especially the oysters. Service was attentive and on the mark.

One of the best dinners we had while in NYC! The spicy edamame and Wagyu Beef appetizers were amazing! We shared several sushi rolls and my daughter order the fried rice. Everything we had was delicious!!! Even our drinks were incredible! The service was outstanding too. Highly recommend!!
