This place is a gem and the best lunch value in the area. It's not much for looks but the food is yummy and absurdly cheap. They have noodles to order (ask for a menu if you can't read the Chinese one on the wall), BBQ meats, and different cooked dishes each day. Great for a takeout work lunch or when you're looking for something quick in the area. The bakery items are good as well and difficult to find outside of Chinatown

I moved to Hell's Kitchen 2 months ago and have been searching for a true hole-in-the-wall Chinese/Cantonese place, so I don't have to schlep all the way to Chinatown to get my fix. This is it. And it's the only one that exists in Midtown, which gives it 5 stars in my book for the rarity alone. Sure, there are your typical Chinese American places, and nicer Chinese restaurants, but this is the only true hole-in-the-wall Chinese place.Don't expect cleanliness, or fancy service, or even insanely good food. This is quick and dirty, cheap and good counter service staples. My favorite Chinese dish (滑蛋牛肉饭) directly translates as "slippery egg beef rice" and it's incredibly hard to find because while it's insanely tasty, it's not a popular Chinese American dish, and it's not fancy Chinese. I've looked everywhere for it. They make it here, and they make it well. I'll be back every week or two to get it, and likely will check out the bakery as well.

$8.50 for 3 combo rice box??? The cheapest mea Id seen in time square. That's after tax too and then walk 10 mins to time square and sit and enjoy your delicious cheap meal.

Such a great value, food quality has been consistent every time I order it for delivery. So glad it's back open as it has been on my takeout rotation for a while! Happy to support small businesses w great product.

Good service. They were out of pork buns so i got a lemon bun because i had my own lemon water. It was great! Loved it. They Aldi have a breakfast special of noodle dishes for close to nothing ($2.50) bet 6:30 and 9:30. Coming back for this.

My girlfriend and I get food from here AT LEAST once a week. We've tried tons of Chinese places in the area and Fu Xing is by far our favorite. The food is delicious, the portions are big enough to last us multiple meals, the prices are very reasonable, and the employees are extremely kind. If you haven't tried them before, I highly recommend ordering. They might become your new favorite too :)

Love the food here! It's really tasty and super affordable. Ivan the owner is always friendly and provides great customer service. We love getting their beef stir fry noodles, char siu, roast duck, and stir fry pak choy.

I had the 3 dish one soup combo here. I think pork chop is soooo delicious. It goes super well with the cabbage. The duck is alright but I had better. An overall good quality and definitely really good quantity as the portion is huge! It's only $7.5 and I never finished the whole meal without having to bring the leftover home for dinner. Note: you have to come here early so there are more options.

It is what it is for the price and the hours. Do not though order the congee. One bite and in the bin.

Decent comfort foods. Friendly staff.

I absolutely love congee and I have to say their congee is horrible and not cooked long enough. When the rice isn't cooked long enough, the rice doesn't melt in the mouth. More like rice soup, not congee.

Nothing fancy quantity over quality

It is a hidden Chinese Restaurant with great food at a low price. The place is busy with people and price is under $10. I ordered Thai style basil fries rice with shrimp for only $8. Food is delicious! My friends ordered Pai Thai and Beef Chow Fun. All 3 of our dishes are amazing. You cannot find a better Chinese food place better and beat the price. Don't expect fine dining ambience. The place is small and a bit crowded. We don't mind as long as the food and service are satisfactory.

Tried the mapo tofu, wife cake, and hot red bean for delivery. Taste was poor, portions were large, price was average.
