We decided to try the store's specialty: Fuzhou fish balls. The owner talks loud, and if you're not familiar with him, and question the quality of the fish balls, he's not willing to be the one to convincing you to try his fish balls. That's what happened to us. But they were really good! They're not perfectly round, so you could tell they're handmade. Went back again to buy more for the freezer, and learned that they only use fresh mackerel! They're a very hole-in-the-wall store, but tasty and clean. This is now our go-to for Fuzhou fish balls.
