Paid $6.99 for $21 value TGTG order. I received one of their $10 lunch special which didn’t meet value and was tasteless. On top of that, I arrived when it was raining heavily outside and they refused to give me a bag to take the food to go and asked me to pay extra, thankfully, I had one with me, however, once I’ve arrived home, the curry gravy leaked all over the bag. Will not give them my business again.

One of the best meals I’ve had in NYC. This quaint Jamaican eatery may have strange opening hours or even days, but the food here is simply great. Even if you like reminiscing about that trip you had to Jamaica years ago but worry about the spicyness of the food, don’t. That can be adjusted by the lovely people there, so you can enjoy and customize whatever they have on offer. Prices are more than fair and I’ll definitely be returning here for another taste of that sweet, sweet Jamaican vibe.

This restaurant offers affordable Jamaica cuisine. The staff is very welcoming. Beside the small dining area as you enter, there's a much larger dining space at the back giving you a rustic backyard vibes. The atmosphere is good for light conversation, nothing too personal unless the space is empty as it's a close seating arrangement. This location is about 3 minutes walk from UN Headquarters incase anyone visiting there wants a Caribbean style lunch.

We, 4, had goat curry and chicken jerk..portions were full, mutton was plenty..and falling off the bones and spices were nice. The owner was super sweet to us..and generous with ideas and extras. Small quaint, homely atmosphere and effusing with kindness..place to go to, not for views and fashion, but simply good food. 👍

This is hands-down the best restaurant in the area. Walking in feels like walking into someone's kitchen for some home-cooked food. Yvonne is super friendly and clearly cares about her guests. She wants to ensure you find the best food for your taste, happily accommodating any flavors you like or dislike into the plate they make you. The food itself is utterly delicious and a great serving (especially for the price). I love the Jerk chicken with sweet plantains, lentils, and rice and beans. Perfect amount of very tasty food to leave you feeling great. Please support the team here! You'll be rewarded with some delicious food. The only photo I could submit is that of an empty plate, because when the food hits the table, the aroma is too great not to dig right in!
Couldn't recommend more!

Petit, unique, different. Ms. Yvonne aims to please and the food is great. Need some hot Jamaican chocolate tea....to warm up your tummy you can have that here......I love her aluminum serving plates.....so nostalgic......on the East side of New York city, or make a trip from the West for real authentic Jamaican food.
