Good meat, veggies, & pita: this turkey & lamb shawarma might have been the best one I've had in a very long time. [More interesting & less dry than the German Doner Kebab.] It gave me three whole meals for less than twenty bucks! I didn't completely love the sweet curry sauce, but there wasn't an overwhelming amount of it, & it soon gave way to savory hummus & peppers.
Oh, & I'm not a buddy of the owner &/or employees. There's a small chance they & I might have differences in this political climate. In any event, I packed up my leftovers in my trusty Ayat shopping bag. Wish I coulda done the same at the Second Avenue Deli!

Extremely far from any genuine taste of Middle Eastern food.

Wow! Just ordered for my team at work. The sides! The potatoes! The jammy eggplant. Falafel is one of the best in midtown

Went for my second time in a week. Still just as good...got the build your own with Falaffel. But they get busy during lunch so order well in advance.

Amazing food, better than all the food carts being promoted by youtubers. Especially for falafel plate, they have excellent sides. Their eggplant and tomato side and pickled vegetables is where it is at. Would definitely try to visit, if we are in NY again.

There is absolutely no flavor in this food, and I have never had middle eastern food with no flavor. The saffron rice was bland and overcooked. The Israeli salad was literally just chopped tomatoes, cucumber and romaine lettuce- no herbs or seasoning. To clarify, that is NOT Israeli salad. The red cabbage slaw was just chopped red cabbage..no slaw at all. Hopefully the vegetables were at least thoroughly washed.
I’m convinced these “great” reviews are from owner friends, because there’s no way..
Excellent Shawarma
Fresh and tasty.
However no place to sit which is really bad.
One of the best thing about this place is that they have “A.M.B.A”.

Visited about three weeks ago and got the chicken shawarma bowl. It was tasty and a generous portion for the price. Went back today and saw the prices had gone up about 30%, and the portion of the toppings wasn’t as good as the first time.
