Waited for more than 40min for our food while customers who arrived after us were served first. Apparently, the kitchen runs on a lottery system and we pulled the losing ticket. The servers? Silent as statues. Not an apology, not an update—just pure vanishing acts. We asked politely, got vague shrugs and empty promises. By the time the food arrived, my appetite had left the building. If you enjoy feeling invisible, being ignored, and watching others eat while you contemplate your life choices—this is your place. Otherwise, avoid it like a buffet at closing time.

Worst tteokbokki ever. Does not taste like anything. Also they did very bad job packing food for Uber Eats delivery because the tteoboki sauce just spilled everywhere and nothing was left after all. What a waste of money I should have just bought some frozen food from H mart

The menu had a great variety, and all the dishes were clean and flavorful. We ordered seolleongtang, sundubu-jjigae, soondae-guk, and naengmyeon — and the seolleongtang and sundubu-jjigae were especially delicious! The side dishes were tasty, and we could get free refills. Most of all, the staff were kind and the service was excellent.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, and I understand that Korean food tends to be a bit more expensive. But this place feels like it’s run by someone who just came out of a back alley in Seoul.

Their signature kimchi stew costs over $50, but all it came with was kimchi, some onion, two small chunks of tofu, two dried ramen blocks, and a tiny bit of meat. The flavor was okay, but there was barely anything to eat.

The environment is incredibly loud, and there was only one server taking orders—who seemed completely lost, probably a new hire.

Do yourself a favor: skip this place unless you want to spend $55 on a bowl of glorified kimchi rice.

$43 for just this??
Ordered bossam for takeout. No rice, no ssam (lettuce wraps), just a few slices of pork and some pickled sides. For $43 I expected at least a full set. Portion was disappointing for the price. Never ordering again.

Very authentic and delicious Korean food. One of a few Korean restaurants in the Manhattan that keeps authentic Korean food style. Highly recommended!

Great 24hr place for some decent Korean food. The seolleng tang was very flavorful and I would recommend this. The broth was nice and rich. You have to season the soup yourself which is the norm. However, they added rice to the soup which is normally just served on the side. The kimchi pancake was thick and felt like it was pre-fried and just sitting out. The kimchi jeongol was also thick and did not have much ingredients in there. Overall, great place to go super late at night or really early in the morning.

The food was good, but the service last time was so bad it turned the whole meal into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had

We came here on a Friday night after the wait at another Ktown restaurant was too long. I actually quite liked the kimchi jigae - it was rich, spicy, and piping hot. I thought their kimchi was decent, but I would have expected there to be more dishes. A decent, casual, and affordable Korean restaurant in Ktown.
