I had a great experience at Gammeeok! The soup was incredibly delicious — full of flavor and perfectly comforting. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the location in Koreatown is perfect. I also really appreciate that the restaurant is open late, which makes it a great spot for a late-night meal. Highly recommend!

I’ve heard a lot about Gammiok in New York, so I finally stopped by while visiting Koreatown — and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean, calm, and welcoming. Since I went around 10:30 in the morning, it wasn’t too busy, which made the atmosphere even more relaxing. The side dishes, especially the kimchi, were incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The main dishes tasted very natural — not overly seasoned or artificial — you could really taste the quality...

Came in here in possibly the most busy night of the year - Halloween weekend at 2am daylight savings time.

Place was super chaotic.
Extremely busy with customers but the workers were somehow able to seat and feed everyone that came in.

Soondobu dish was amazing. Full of flavor and hearty.
The seafood scallion pancake was absolutely amazing. i could eat that thing for a meal and would be satisfied.
