Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—every bite was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and made the whole experience even better. Huge shoutout to Maria and Orlando, who provided outstanding service and truly went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Their friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back!

The food was excellent, the cocktails too, a cozy but nice place, good service, and parking is a bit tricky to find, but it’s worth it

The place was nice and the food was good but this is the first time ever that I order a pad Thai and it has sweet chili sauce ??? So weird.

I have been to Geisha more times than I care to admit…..shame on me I guess. This is the most wildly overrated and overpriced establishment in the neighborhood. Food is mediocre at best, but that’s not really the issue.
The issue is the service. When I was there most recently I rarely saw the server (he was very nice, but had to run back and forth between both rooms) - isn’t there a manager anywhere that can step in and help him?! The male bartender once offered to sell me a watch which was BIZARRE, but not as bizarre as him telling me my hair was dry and strangely trying to sell me conditioner. So flipping rude. Very used car salesman vibes from that guy.
The other issue is the ambience. I noticed a mother and their child trying to celebrate a birthday together, but they could barely enjoy each others company due to the LOUDEST techno music. Who blasts tiesto at 4pm?
Ladies - pro tip — ruse the restroom before you go. This place needs to be shut down on multiple health code violations.

Simply spectacular.
The attention from María and Fernanda was out of this world — super friendly, always smiling, and with an incredible attitude throughout the entire experience. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect.
In addition, María truly surprised me when she told me she was born in “El Jardín de Venezuela,” Boconó, a small town in the state of Trujillo, which made the conversation even more special and personal.
Honestly, everything was just spectacular.
Thank you to the Geisha Restaurant team for an unforgettable evening!

We placed an order for several sushi rolls costing around $50.00. We waited an hour and the delivery guy Carlos stole our food and act as if he delivered it. So please be aware that the drivers at this restaurant could possibly steal your food. I called the restaurant and he said he couldn’t do anything about it.

Love Geisha! Great selection of sushi options (among many other menu items as well!). Service is usually really attentive but it depends on the server you get. For example one time we had a server who was a bit frantic accidentally charged us for another table’s food because they were moving too fast and then it took 2 tries to have the issue corrected (moving too fast and not paying attention). But most of the time service is great and I still return. Recommend the flying dragon sushi roll.

We went to pick up when we ordered cashier said that 20 minutes but it took 55 minutes and when we asked for our food they said kitchen is busy but at the restaurant only a few tables were sitting and when we took our order i told him this is the last time and the cashier was waving her hand like bye. Unprofessional cashiers definitely and they will lose customers hopefully. Because even the hostes was rude .I NEVER RECOMMEND .

I love this place so much and have been ordering from here for like a year almost every week — it’s the best sushi takeout in nyc
My husband angus hibachi, the fried calamari rings we had as appetizers, and the masago nigiri were good but the spicy tuna roll, the spicy salmon roll and the salmon skin roll weren’t: both the tuna and salmon were this kind of purée of the proteins inside the roll that, to start with, was very weird to have cause usually (every other place I’ve went to) you get the piece or chunks of protein inside, and therefore, gave a really non pleasant sensation (overall the salmon was slightly better than the tuna one). The salmon skin was also very bland and had pieces of salmon meat that also gave that weird sensation and ended up being very salted. For a restaurant that has a main focus on sushi it was disappointing. In terms of service: the waitress that started serving us was very sweet even when she disappeared after the first 15 minutes, her colleagues continued with us and also were very nice (although they let enough already finished plates pile in the table before picking them up). They were very present with the water service throughout the meal. Might be worth another chance but don’t know yet.
