I didn't even eat the pancakes so I don't know if they are delicious or not. But this time is wrong man. I waited at the door at 11:30 and didn't open the door until 12:05. No one came. The time on this website should be

Warning! THIS STORE IS CLOSED!! I ordered from Grubhub and the hours of operation is opened. When I arrived the there's a black cloth and I tried calling the store, the called dropped. It was a very inconvenient experience and disappointment.

Beware they can be closed when google and delivery app says they’re open. You will be waiting for food that will never turn up.

Decided to stop by Gem Bing for a quick snack.Ordered a small JB, with crispy peking duck (extra $3.99) less spicy. It was cool to watch them make it, but not sure the value was there. They also accept card...when I went, they had a sign saying cash or venmo only so I paid with venmo. But the person behind me paid with card.Eating the bing was pretty messy, but it was good that it was piping hot. For $4, I don't think a whole lot of duck was put in.Good for a quick snack. If you add on, the total price can definitely add up.Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!

Cash only! Small shop only for takeout, had higher expectations coming in. I got mine small (even the small is pretty large!) with pork floss, szechuan pickle, and bean sprouts. The jian bing was very soggy, messy to eat, and they was way too much sauce that made some parts of it too salty. My favorite is still the bing from Joes Steam Rice Roll since the bing actually does not fall apart and the egg pancake is not soggy -- it is way easier to eat. Also, this place is super pricey for the quality of bing.

Amazing jian bing, I grew up in China eating these and miss them terribly. It’s nice to be able to have a little slice of nostalgia. Try it with the duck, so yummy!! Was able to have a nice conversation with one of the staff (owner?, will have to return to find out, and maybe have some more jian bings, while I’m there) who shared a little bit about the history of the business.

This place is really good. When I went in, one of the people there seemed really ready to help me and asked if I had ever had it before. They make it right in front of you and temp you with the smells before you get to eat it. The food itself was great. I had the Jian bing with spam added on. It's not particularly cheap for street food but it's a good amount of food and tasted really complex and delicious. The different layers of salty and sweet of crunchy and soft made it feel like a whole plate of food packed into one dish. The place itself is very small as in just a counter so there isn't a great place to sit down and eat it but, given that it's all wrapped up in the crepe, it's perfect to eat while on the move. Definitely worth trying!

Honestly, I really wished I can give more stars since the owner is so nice, but gotta keep it a bean. There's no crisp whatsoever when I bit into it and it tasted mushy. A bit stingy with the fillings and overpriced.

This is such a lovely snack stop after a long day of walking around NY coming from LA! The owner was extremely hospitable and offered my 67 year old dad an extra seat when my mom and I were sitting on the bench outside to stay dry from the rain. Not only the owner was such hospitable, he was also a gentleman.Additionally, about halfway into our hot steamy JianBing, the owner gave me free oat milk on the house! He said that looking at my parents and I devouring the JianBing reminded him of his childhood when he was with his parents. That was extremely heartwarming coming from him and such a kind gesture as well. Please head to this humble JianBing store to try some authentic, quick Chinese crepe with good savory toppings in it!I wish you, your family and your business all the best!- Alice

STAY OUT OF THIS PLACE!!! My boyfriend fell ill from food poisoning right after getting their jian bing yesterday. They probably use old ingredients and their kitchen looked disgusting. They also made a huge fuss about not accepting Venmo or credit card, but only cash, which I believe is to avoid taxes. Please don't go here!!!

Tried their classic jian bing with bean sprouts and homemade soy milk. 10/10 it was really good!! The jian bing was pretty big and the soy milk was cold and refreshing. I would definitely come back again :) total cost was about $14.

Good Jianbing but not yet to Beijing's standard.. They also didn't have (nor did the waitor know.. even if it was clearly on their menu) the Beijing Jianbing when I was there.

3.5 stars. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while, after having a really good jian bing in Flushing (back in 2020 lololol). This one was good but... I don't know, it just didn't hit the same. I got the small size and added duck. The small was fairly sizable already, so I thought that was a pretty good deal. Despite all the ingredients that went into the jian Bing though, it was relatively bland. There was like, no flavor or texture to it besides being a general mush - even the crispy wafer was soggy within a minutes. Also, the lettuce was so off-putting (the bland wateriness made it feel like a mid-tier burger), and I really think it would have been improved with some other vegetable or none at all. The duck was also not that great, since I seemed to have only gotten pieces of fat (though if that's your vibe you might enjoy it more than I did). Anyway, glad I tried (and it's a cute little shop!) but not sure that I'd be back.
