Truly incredible old New York experience. Great pastas and martinis and attentive staff. Love the classic vibes!

It was crowded but not noisy, so that was good. But the food was truly disappointing. It had all the choices we ordered years ago at an Italian restaurant, but nothing was tasty enough. There seemed to be no anchovies in the Caesar salad - and the sauce on the veal parmesan wasn't good. The desserts looked good but we were done.

Real New York tablecloth Italian— neighborhood people, occasionally stars living in West Village, a few interestingly “dem” guys, all come for the traditional American-Italian food served with a warm welcome. Shrimps à la Gene’s I’ve been ordering since the 1980s— you should, too.

This old-school Italian restaurant is a true hidden gem, offering classic Italian fare in a cozy, intimate setting. The tenure of the service staff speaks to their commitment, and bartender Franco is simply amazing—mixing drinks with skill and charm that enhances the whole experience. The menu is no-frills, but that’s what makes it so reliable; you know you’ll get delicious, authentic dishes every time. If you’re looking for a place with a warm, inviting atmosphere and consistently great food, this spot is a must-visit.

One of the best restaurants in NYC. Every dish is delicious and priced better than you will find in any restaurant. They are unbelievably affordable, have a huge menu, and their desserts are out of this world. Their chocolate mousse cup is the best I've ever tasted in all of Manhattan. Their gluten free Penne aka vodka was awesome. Their plate sizes are very generous. This is one of the best hidden gems in all of Manhattan.

Skip. Of all the great Italian restaurants in the area, this could be the worst. Just go somewhere else.
