As an Australian I used to love this place but the coffee has become hit and miss sadly. Tastes a little like percolated coffee with milk. Would be great to see some Australian baristas here! Not sure if it’s the beans but something tastes a bit not quite right. Pastries are great though, Vegemite features & they have hot cross buns at Easter! The service is also hit and miss. Could do with some consistency because it’s a great concept!Came back a second time for some more average service sadly. Got some buttered hot cross buns on Friday and today was told only after asking for buttered hot cross buns and paying for them, they don’t have butter on site. This place needs some good old Australian service!

I was greeted with a smile, and the place is really cute with thoughtful and minimal decoration. I enjoyed sitting there while waiting for my order. The drip coffee has a sour note, a bit too sour for my taste. The croissant, while fresh, looked and tasted burnt. Potential to get a 5* review from me if the taste can be improved.

Cute little modern specialty coffee roaster up on 96th between Broadway and Amsterdam. They also serve pastries —the pastries looked very good. You walk up some stairs to access the shop from the streets.

Walked in to get a cup of coffee. There was no one on line. The barista and cashier were having a conversation. The barista smiled at me as I walked to the counter and the cashier walked to the iPad. I said hello to the cashier and he just stared at me blankly. I walked out. I remembered that I don’t go here because the service is terrible. I don’t expect staff to chitchat with customers but you could at least acknowledge my presence. Was “what can I get for you?” or even just a hello too much to expect?

Lovely little shop! To get in, you’ll want to go up the stairs and not down into the basement part (I was a little confused). But I like the elevation and looking down at people from the window. This is not a good cafe to study at though. It’s more of a ?vibes✨?️ place. There is no wifi and only counter seating (but ample outlets if you need to charge your phone while looking out the window). The staff are super nice! I got a turmeric latte because this cafe has that “eclectic art kid kind of out there” energy. Beautiful latte and cute mug and they served it with a free hibiscus cookie!!! I’ve never had a turmeric latte before tho so I can’t judge how good it is but it tasted like spicy milk

Good coffee, delicious foodFriendly and helpful people workingUpdate: had to change my rating because I do not understand why you would remove the best item on your menu. The avocado toast was amazing. I literally had friends coming out from other neighborhoods to have it.Also, the last few times I stopped by, the stuff wasn’t nearly as nice. The coffee is still good.

Super cute cafe located on the UWS. Sweet latte, quite milky. Very tiny store, but they have a good selection of coffee drinks and pastries.

My friends and I walked here from nearby Central Park for a quick bite and coffee. We were lucky enough to go when there wasn't a line as this is a small place with no seating inside save for a small window seat that accommodates about three people if you squeeze together. Since there were four of us, one person had to stand while the others ate. I had an oak milk latte and the house-made bircher with oats, coconut milk, and fruit. I really liked both items and I'm glad that we were able to dine inside before the line formed and we couldn't sit down. This is a nice place for great coffee, but maybe just expect that you'll be taking your order to go if the seating is taken.

Best neighborhood coffee shop I could wish for. I hoped they could get the empty space next door to expand, but I love the new seating arrangement they

Best coffee in the area with a decent breakfast menu. Inside and outside seating in a relaxed atmosphere.

Wheelchair accessibility: Access only with assistance, but they have a bell you can ring.
