Enjoyed early dinner at 5:45pm- nice table in back of restaurant. Can get crowded and noisy as it gets later. Friendly and attentive service. Started out with complimentary, fresh bread with olive oil. For dinner had the pizza (funghi, carciofi e salsiccia)- nice portion and very delicious. My sister's salmon was a little underdone. Tiramisu was tasty.
Gigino is a dining gem in the middle of expensive Tribeca. Huge (Italian) menu with very reasonable prices. Service is excellent. I was there on a Saturday night and the restaurant was pretty full - no pressure to have us order and no pressure to have us leave. Very attractive space. The only drawback is the noise.
Wonderful dining experience at Gigino's in Tribeca! Loved the ambience - understated elegance. Food was excellent - I had the farfalle isabella and it did not disappoint! The service was also great. It was my second time here, but I think it's time to move Gigino's into my regular rotation!
