Gilda’s has the best baklava in NYC I’m convinced. Stopped by at 9p on a Saturday night though and they were closed?? No sign on the door explaining why.

Popped in here at 5pm on a Saturday night after theatre without reservations and the staff was super kind and able to seat us. Food and service were outstanding. Weird drink menu - they only carry Mexican sodas (the waitress didn't know why), so you can't have a Diet Coke. They also don't have coffee or tea after dinner, which is odd for a Mediterranean restaurant. Instead they recommended I "go next door" to a coffeehouse. Weird, right? Cucumber salad was perfection as was the chicken shawarma. The salmon was too small for the price but the Brussels were heavenly. Definitely overpriced for portion sizes, but I'd return here.

I've been here once, back in July and it was so yummy! The food is made to order and worth the wait, come here with time to give the place your all. Ambiance is lovely and the staff is very friendly. Everything tasted fresh and savory. The salad rocks and so does the hummus.

This place is truly a neighborhood gem! Been here a few times and the cocktails have been top notch. The service is wonderful and the bartender made us some great extra dirty martinis! The tapas style food pairs well with the cocktails especially the latkes. So glad that Hell's Kitchen finally has a nice cocktail bar!

A genuine fav for locals and Bway workers that until recently had the greatest cabbage dish plus a great happy hour that does live on.

OK so we (6 of us) came here for happy hour/geriatric dinner before a Broadway show and we had incredible service! First let me tell you about the cocktails! They all had a beautiful, fragrant twist, were impossibly well-balanced and dangerously addictive. I started off a nonalcoholic beverage, called the PG piña colada. It was visually beautiful, silky smooth with a little bit of fizz to it and a nice mint shrub on top to engage most of the senses, LOVED it. Two other people in our party got the Uncle Dynamite, a beautiful gin drink with pomegranate, and a spritz of some kind of flower water that made it smell like you were drinking roses. They couldn’t stop ordering it! Other honorable mentions were an absolutely KICKING Old Fashioned, the Painkiller, and the Gilda Margarita. The happy hour food was perfect pre-show, sufficient to sustain you through a 3:30hr show (Harry Potter) and still light enough to indulge and share several plates. We ordered the dip trio, the Brussels sprouts, and the fried calamari. They were all good but the dip trio was the real champion, followed closely by the Brussels sprouts, and the calamari. Our servers were really attentive, friendly, and fast, and the decor is cool with really standout design choices throughout. We would definitely recommend Gilda for true cocktail lovers! My only regret was not getting photos

I love this place. I stumbled on this with a friend. We had no reservations on a Saturday night of course there was no chance. We were able to sit at the bar. We ordered wine. The several wines were well described, not the usual. We ordered two small plates , the trio and crispy Latkes . Both dishes were large. The bread for the trio of dips was wonderful. We were told that they make it the night before, let it rise and then bake it as the orders come in. The sauces with the crispy latkes were unusual and memorable. The trio which included humus, tzatziki abd something else which was bold and spicy , not at all the average Mediterranean dips.

There’s not a lot of good options in this neighborhood so this place really stands out. Great service and good bar snacks and burger.

Atmosphere, Service, and Cocktails were all phenomenal - can't say enough about the staff and welcoming attitude by everyone we encountered. Plan to return for food at our next opportunity!!!

Horrible food. Food tastes as though they emptied the entire salt container into everything they prepared. Wait staff seems unaccustomed to diverse parties. Don't waste your time. Incredibly salty food.

TLDR: The food is okay in general not something that makes you want to come back for. Looks like they focus more on the drinking side of the business. The spot is cute, and loud, with the service being painfully slow. The prices are on the high side for the minimal portions.Ambiance: Happy to see this new spot at Hell's Kitchen, which desperately needs some more unique flavors. The venue is well decorated, and inviting, but don't expect to have a nice and quiet experience because it's L-O-U-D. It's more of an "I am having a party" at a bar vibe, not bad but be ready for it.Service: That is the major problem I saw. It doesn't make the experience unbearable but it's a nagging thing. It took 3 people to get some water, a long time to order entrees after apps, and also to get the check. Being a new establishment, even the welcoming lady at the door told us it was her second day, perhaps they need some time to get the right systems in place.Food: Everything is very small, you're either not hungry or you will have to order a lot and the prices don't quite allow for it.The spreads are good, and the tomato especially was so fresh, however seems like that kitchen used zero salt and I had to add it myself for the flavors to appear. The mussels have a good wine sauce with it and the steak tartare had a good seasoning with the mustard and capers. The best part of it all? The pita bread: It was perfectly grilled and the za'atar seasoning was amazing. I got it with the spreads and the mussels. But again WHY so stingy with the best part? With 2 spreads I only got 2 minuscule strips of pita barely enough to finish one spread, and another 2 tiny strips for the mussels. Asking for more took 15 minutes protecting the unfinished plates from people trying to take them. After getting another 2 minimal strips of pita ate some more spread and gave up on the mussel's sauce. The beef skewers are well cooked and the carrots are a good accompaniment however needed more salt on top of it and again it's crazy small. The chicken shwarma is the only thing that resembles a reasonable portion of what could be considered a meal. The kitchen was slightly overcooked and dry with some burnt bits and the sauce had to be used to compensate for it. The salad that comes with it is a good side.In some time when the service is better, they definitely deserve a second chance and I can easily see it becoming a staple in the neighborhood.

The food is great, and the spot is cute. The bloody mary and warm pita were delicious.
