Kitchen closed way too early. Seats had holes in them. Didnt seem like a place I want to go again.

and the drinks. On top of that, the atmosphere is warm and vibrant. It's a great place to make a night of it, but it can be difficult to hear the people you are with.

The place to be in legendary Harlem!

Had a night that went south at Harlem Hookah so my girls and I trapezed over to Gin Fizz and had a ball! There was a $15 cover, which wasn't a problem. The bar only excepts cash but there are several banks and ATMs that are readily available. The DJ was everything! The atmosphere was welcoming and encompassed everyone of varying ages. The drinks were good n' strong! We left shortly before "let out" which is at 4:00 AM. They have a great bar and offer hookah. Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. You won't regret it. They definitely came thru with the vibes

Great music but drinks r overpriced and watered down and the bartenders are very slow and dont have real bartending experience. Why would u have only 2 bartenders on a saturday night????? THEN a hour after the bar opens they euh n out of change n have a $20 card limit. Then the tall women who was working at the bar walked away to the dj to tell him to make a announcement to tell everyone to be patient at the bar. Bad enough she was slow she could have sent someone else to relay the message instead of wasting more time and keeping people waiting even longer. This was my first and last time going here.

One random night after work a few friends and I wanted to head out for a night on the town and I did work at a bar but I didn't want to get off and get right to drinking at my work place so we left and went to this low key place I didn't even know about. A friend of mine who DJs there had us come thru and the vibe was very mature and positive. Great music , Drinks.. oh and they stay open until 4am which was great being I got off at 1am that day.

Great spot. Came here on a Saturday night with friends and heard a fantastic blues band. Great bar service too.

The music is great but you can tell advertisement is lacking because the crowd is very small. It has a cozy speakeasy feel and the staff is great. You can't find the place unless you know where it is. The sign outside is practically invisible (light that thing up!). The atm machine doesn't work and you need cash to pay for the music. So it sticks that you have to go upstairs then find out you need cash and have to take the stairs back down. The bar and food take card though.

It's a nice little jazz joint. It's a bar which plays live jazz music. So if you want to just be by yourself or take someone on a nice simple date this is definitely the place to go. A margarita goes for maybe about 14 bucks from what I remember. But I completely enjoyed myself here. You know it's a good establishment if you feel comfortable enough to make friends with the stranger right next to you, which I did ofcourse. I smile, I drank, I relaxed, I just enjoyed myself. The music just relaxes you. 5 atars

The atmosphere at Gin Fizz transports you back to old Harlem and that was a great experience. The Jazz music by Johnny Mercier was phenomenal. If you want to experience good jazz music and feel the vibes of the old times, you would not regret it. However, the food, drinks and the service were disappointing. We sat at a table and got no waiting service. My husband had to go to the bar to get drinks, and order appetizers, but the waiting service was available to pick up our drink glasses even though our glasses were half full and we were not finished. Drinks tasted like sweetened water with a drop of liquor. The menu online is not the one that we got when we got there. Instead, we got a menu for the smoke house downstairs. I was expecting some French cuisine that apparently was falsely advertised on their website. We had calamari and it wasn’t the best, or the worst. When the jazz segment was over, the waiting staff was removing the linen from the table while the guests were still seated at the table. I would go back only for the music after I have had my fill of both food and drinks elsewhere.
