Excellent food and great service. Good value especially for NY. Highly recommend the clam pasta.
Greg was exceptional and very attentive. He made very good recommendations and the food was amazing.
A Home Away from Home – Still One of NYC's Best Giorgio at Gramercy has been one of my favorite restaurants for over a decade and for good reason. This time, I returned for the Restaurant Week menu, and it was an absolute delight. Wholesome, satisfying, and hands down the best value in town. What impresses me most is how the quality has never wavered. From the first bite to the last, every dish reminded me why I keep coming back. The team truly cares, and it shows. The service is as warm and professional as ever. It was especially lovely to see Ernesto again, he's been the heart of the dining room for decades, and his presence always brings a personal touch. Giorgio isn't just a restaurant to me, it's a place I feel at home. A true NYC gem that never disappoints. Thank you again for the anniversary sorbet 🍨🍨🍨🍨🍧
Our waiter was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, personable and very energetic. The other staff (busboy?) were also very attentive and helpful.

Loved the food --best non-mayo Caesar salad I've had in a long while -- and the presentation. Only issues were the noise (try not to sit next to a young group table) and the service of the first course was too fast. Otherwise, great.
Don't sleep on this NYC gem! The food and service are GREAT. it's a prefect spot for a date night or a girls night! The Lucmache Bolognese was the star of the show!
Went for restaurant week. Menu was great. Food was delicious: calamari, lobster ravioli and fruit panna cotta
We went with family and as a big group. It is a great space for it and everyone enjoyed their meal including the children!
We had pasta, gnocchi and grilled octopus and they all were nicely done and flavorful.
The menu is very diverse and accommodating for vegetarians and pescetarians.
The wine has a great collection as well.

Four of us had dinner at Giorgio's and enjoyed all of the dishes. We had appetizers and entrees. We had drinks and wine. We ordered items from the menu as well as some of the specials. We asked the waiter to lower the music and he accomodated this request. It was a lovely evening.

Having had 2 wonderful pasta lunches there this month, we decided to try dinner. My flounder special was excellent, as were the fried calamari. However, my friend order veal parmesan, which I was surprised the chef let it out of the kitchen. It clearly was overcooked/burnt around the edges. My friend confirmed it was over cooked and left 1/3 (which she never does) on her plate. Another friend knocked over my wine glass, which crashed into pieces on the table, making a racket. NO one came over. We had to motion for the waiter to get the table cleaned up. There is a list of $12 desserts. I ordered the daily special on the list; the 'list' doesn't mention that the 'special' is $2 extra. I'm hoping this was just an off night.
Giorgio's has been my go to neighborhood place for almost 20 years. It is always consistently good, which is why I continue to go back!
Went for a small company dinner, total group of 9 people on a Wednesday night. It was pretty empty. The ambience was old school fancy tavern style.
For appetizer, we got the calamari (really good), colossal shrimp (was not seasoned at all), meatball (I don’t eat meat but the table enjoyed it), and charred octopus (tasted good). For dinner, I got the salmon and it was really good, highly recommend it! My coworkers go the rabbit ragu (he really loved it), veal (the portion is huge!), and Diavalo (all who got it, loved it). For dessert, I believe it was a chocolate cake with ice cream - it was ok.
The highlight of the night was our waiter. I wish I got his name but he did an amazing job!

Giorgio's delivers a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Each dish we ordered was prepared with care and attention to detail. Giorgio's clearly prides itself on using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and this commitment is evident in every bite. A special mention must be made of Greg, our waiter, whose service elevated our experience even further. Attentive, helpful, and highly professional, he ensured that every aspect of our meal was seamless. His knowledge of the menu and his thoughtful recommendations made us feel well cared for, adding a personal touch to the evening. If you're looking for a place with outstanding food, impeccable service, and a welcoming ambiance, Giorgio's is a must-visit.
