Drinks and atmosphere were good. We had a 10pm reservation but didn’t get seated until 11pm. They gave us a complimentary drink to make up for the wait, which I appreciated. They forgot one of our side dishes and still charged us, but removed it when we asked without an issue. The waitstaff and hostess were kind and doing their best, but management needs to do better.

I asked the waiter for water with lemon. She forgot the lemon. I asked her for a sauce that wasn’t spicy. She said all of the sauces were spicy but she’ll see what she can do. She never followed up about that. I was told my friend would have a complimentary dessert for her birthday with sparklers. I paid $16 for her dessert and it had a little candle on it. No one came to keep refilling our water. I’m pregnant so I didn’t have any alcohol so we had to keep calling the waiter for water. The food was also cold and not worth the money.

I came for a friend’s 25th birthday. Our evening was incredible. The restaurant is stunning and cavernous. The decor is beautiful. The food is so authentic and true to Mexico with a worldly approach to the cuisine. Our server Pedro really took care of us and Nate, the manager came to check on us a few times throughout service to make sure we had a good time. I can wait to come back for my birthday in the Spring.

We visit this restaurant for the first time in New York and the food was very nice and we had wonderfull evening with a group of friends. But when we wanna leave my jacket was stolen from there security wardrobe. And told me they give my jacket to the wrong person. But why will the person accept my jacket? I think the people who work there take my jacket and make some stupid excuses. There was with general manger Nate Brunner of Gitano New York some contact but still no solution or a compensation for my jacket. I very dissapointed about the service. Best Maik

The vibes and the area are definitely worth the hype. A very photo op spot. I was not very impressed with the food, the quality for the price fell short. The drinks were perfect and that made our night. The location is everything, exit the back of the restaurant for Brooklyn bridge views. I’ll be back for the bartender and drinks for sure

Very nice location,hall is beautiful. Food is average at best. Very loud music and AC was hitting us full force. Asked to reduce but nothing. Impossible to communicate with a waitress because of loud music. Service is bad,many mistakes with the order. Tip. Don’t ask for a bread. Five small pieces,hard as rock will cost you $6 and all your dental restorations. Conclusion. Spend your money elsewhere
