Brilliant food, atmosphere and service. Am I allowed to say they have the best pizza in New York? Or is it supposed to be a secret?

The space was noisy and dark and it took quite a long time to get any service. I love the Venice location which feels completely different but I won’t come back here.

I love everything Gjelina but the meal was not great. Maybe caught them on an off night but my guess is “inconsistent “ is accurate. Front dining room needs more of a vibe. Tough space. Bar seems better but this didn't feel or taste like the offspring of it’s wonderful parent in Venice.

Excellent. Understated restaurant!
Could use some help on the wine by the glass and beer selections.
Actually completely dropping the ball when it comes to local selections. (Try Grimm or LIC or Other Half)

Love this place for brunch in the weekend, the must are the buckwheat pancakes and the burgers. The pizza is also a really good options , love the Italian style they make.

Beautiful space and a delicious meal. The space itself is a lot bigger than I had imagined; there’s a second floor and a small event space as well. The heirloom tomato was delicious; highly recommend while it’s still in season. I was a little underwhelmed with the two vegetable dishes in comparison to the spaghetti and confit duck leg. The fig panna cotta was silky and not overly sweet. Servers were nice as well, definitely recommend.
Sooo many yummy healthy options on the menu! A group of us had brunch here and loved the food and vibe of this place. I had the soft scrambled eggs and they were just perfect! The yoghurt was also great. Will be back!

Went for brunch and sat outside. Our server was AMAZING! She was so nice and personable, and gave us great service. We did family style with 7 dishes for 8 people. Great value for the price and quantity, and the drinks were also great!

Wonderful vibe and an awesome break-from-the-norm brunch menu! I had the Moroccan Baked Eggs and it was fantastic!

Such a true neighborhood gem! I absolutely love coming here for both brunch and dinner, the food and atmosphere never disappoint. Honestly, I almost wanted to keep this spot to myself, but I noticed their rating doesn’t reflect how amazing it really is. This place is easily one of the best in NoHo and deserves all the recognition.

Pizza was soggy. They were out of things on the menu. Pasta dish was small and salty. Very expensive. Condescending waiter. I’d pass

I have visited at least five times and have had breakfast (which sadly they no longer serve), lunch, and dinner, all of which were delicious.
I would start by saying that Gjelina is a seasonal restaurant. Its menu strongly emphasizes vegetables and unique combinations that not everyone may be prepared for. I would tell you to be open-minded and be willing to try new things. This may not be your place if you have preconceived notions of how you want a dish prepared (even just a pizza).
I recently dined with a party of six. We ordered the hamachi crudo, prosciutto and figs, buratta with peaches, a margarita pizza, squash blossom pasta, a corn sucatash, the waygu bavette, and the muscles (which were the only items people were divided on), but I loved the sauce.
There is a lot to love about Gjelina if you try it. I found the staff excellent and super helpful, and I will be back.

Dinner here was the perfect experience! Our server walked us through the menu, providing his recommendations throughout each of the sections. Highly highly recommend the vegetable dishes and the pizzas! We had the squash blossom pizza with stracciatella - incredible! The corn agnolotti was also a hit. Fantastic wines by the glass as well! We sat upstairs and it felt like we were in a living room - sip homey, warm vibes. 10/10 experience! Will be back!
